Me, I find your designs a bit too cluttered and (IMO, of course) with parts sticking out everywhere, jerky lines, and excessive clipping. In fact, I am very surprised FAR doesn't blow your stuff out of the sky. But you know, to each its own! And I guess that they have their merit, since making such a thing under FAR can't be easy... but I am a sucker for aesthetics, I'm afraid. Hope you don't take this the wrong way! You can of course build whatever you want, and that is always fine. But you are always talking about not getting enough attention, IIRC so... this's what I would say is the reason, at least for me.

Rune. Clip all those fugly structural bits inside a smooth fuel tank!

Probably the best VTOL I have ever seen, handling wise, and looks. Incredible! Can't believe you haven't had more views.

Wow thanks! Glad you liked it, btw If you're not afraid of using infinite fuel you can check this one, probably my best lightweight VTOL. I'll release a craft pack with FAR optimized versions of some previous crafts. Here's the Instant|Split EVO but I'll probably rebuild it from scratch as a MK2 because of drag issues

You can check the video I posted for the F-49 showing the forces on the wings when turning and stalling also SAS wobble. Notice the F-49 was updated again (3rd rev) to allow smoother changes of lift, so the video isn't showing exactly the current plane's behaviour whom can be download on its thread. Actually the F-49 doesn't need any SAS torque or autopilot at all.

I'll admit for the fuel lines on the Kermilien I made kind of in a hurry haha because i was mostly using it with infinite fuel on and added it last. But I wanted it to look like it can glide forward and backward and also showing that it works best when tilted nose down just a bit, giving control on the whole mass steadily because of the double X structure at the back.

Everybody doesn't think and make stuff the same way you do Rune. I actually like the way it looks but i have to admit that there are some parts that don't look pretty...

Thanks, I can't say i made the Kermilien to be very nice visually it was more geared towards performance.

Here's its stall graph btw (at operational speed 50-100m/s):

It looks like a Transformer that's only half way through the transforming process. But Kudos for putting it out there.

Well half way better than not at all right? xD Thanks

Hey RevanCorana,

As I posted before on one of your other craft, I like your craft. The current stock parts are causing everyone's craft to look pretty much the same and that's really boring.

I like original thinking when it comes to stock craft building and these are just that. Sure some may find the 'asthetic' a bit muddled but I see thinking behind the part placement. Keep up the good work mate as I see you making some 'world class' craft in the future.

Hey, that's why I preface my whole post with a "Me". Totally a subjective opinion! :)

And yeah, I've been known to throw designs away just because I couldn't make the lines smooth enough to the eye.

Rune. I say again though, doing that in FAR (performance wise) can't be easy I think. Then again, I've never used FAR.

Hey MJ thanks! I'll try not to fail your expectations haha, btw next craft will probably be an airfoil shaped plane with attempts of cobra maneuvers..

I always want to entertain myself while building stuff so I focus on things i'd like to drive for real (both aesthetics and handling) but also try to keep for each craft a new challenge because that's when the game gets really interesting.

This is how I feel. Which is why that clipping is immoral argument is ridiculous.

I think as long as the clipped part don't get unstable/shaky (which will happens with tank spam) or impair the behaviour in any way it's ok

Thanks for your opinions, I'm aware that some of my designs aren't exactly smooth like the Coldweave or the Cristal Bite but theses I try to sculpt a shape somehow. So it's not exactly simple to get all angles looking equally good, so I work toward a general idea of shape

I can't believe you never used FAR! ^^ because your Quinjet runs perfectly fine in it (despite high drag).

For me the difference is really that with this mod thinking about dynamic pressure from drag make sense, so cabling is more important, wing placement too, structural strength over max deltaV etc...
