When will SQUAD finally fix the docking bug?

When will the devs finally get off their arses and fix this?

I and many other people had so many missions ruined just because they couldn't undock.

Heck, even Scott Manley encountered the annoying bug in his Eve mission gameplay!

It is about time Squad stops wasting time on career mode and fixes this game-breaking bug.

Well my cinematic is about to get ruined because of this bug again.

Funny thing, it only happens in one particular save. One of the reasons it happens is when a multi-part vessel with docking connections decouples something, and there is a high chance one of the docking ports will get broken like that.

Seems very bad. Maybe it will be a fix in 0.90

When someone finally comes up with reproduction steps that can be followed that cause this bug to occur the devs will be able to tackle it, but so far no one has been able to :/

I cannot stress this enough, they need repo steps that cause the bug, as simple as possible with as few parts as possible and absolutely no addons, not even installed but not used on the craft.

The steps don't have to be 100% certain of causing the bug, but if it only happens in 1 attempt out of 50 it's not a lot of use.

So get cracking everyone!

I don't think I have ever run into this issue, and I probably have 1500 hours of game play.

This can be solved by editing you save file you know.

Worked around rather than solved, it'd be better if it didn't happen to begin with.

As I already said above, if you have 2 or more craft docked together, and something decouples from that, most likely the bug will occur.

Btw I have lazor docking cam installed. Can it really be the source of the problem?

I don;t have nay part mods.

It could be contributing SpaceXray, though I did have this happen to me on a stock game several updates ago and some fixes were introduced since then.

Just having a plugin loaded can alter the game though, whether you use addon parts or not.

I recommend anyone trying to reproduce this sticks to an unmodded install, if you use ground craft or the gravity hack it'll be easier.
