You can get it here where you can also get a list of required mods.

Gumdrop Download FAR capable

Gumdrop Download Stock capable

It`s a work in progress, the lander is currently hard to get the right way up and small things like that. More versions are on the way.

Updated for 0.90

A few minor tweaks

gave the rover a flipping device and checked it for unwanted clipping and in the process discovered that the issue was a bug in KSP rather than any construction issue. Claw's Stock Bug Fix is recommended.

Now the second stage fairing detaches in a single piece and falls away realistically.

updated the A.L.S.E.P to have little torque rings so they can move into place again although some now do not fall from the lander and the new SAS does not damp movement enough so when you turn the SAS off they tend to flip in low gravity - more work needed it seems.

Currently only the FAR version, Just fill it up with fuel for stock.

Download

download Gumdrop 0.90.3

Planned Improvements

Refine A.L.S.E.P.

Maybe slightly adjust relative size of CM and LM

Make fuel levels and thrust correct for 'proper ISP calculation'

Thank you very much. You are a rare person. Here's hoping you get more rep bars in the future yourself.

While (at least on spaceport) my craft gets downloaded hundreds of times, nobody comments in the thread. It's been constant for a few years now so I'm used to it.

I'm thinking of pre-empting correct thrust in 1.0 by using KIDS and making the craft match that profile. It should have a nice side effect of removing the need for two craft, one for FAR and another for stock aerodynamics.

If you fly this one, don't be worried about the 'popping/crunching' noises from stage one. I've set the engines so they *just* don't explode...

Yeah, the good 'ol Saturn seems to get much less attention these days...I guess since crazier things are possible now, it doesn't awe as much. But dude, you still make some sweet replicas, so don't sweat it! I, at least, like them. And I distinctly remember repping that lander somewhere, it looks awesome! :)

Rune. Which reminds me, BTW, that my Phoebus is like a gazillion versions old...

Yeah, when you can capture asteroids n stuff a boring old mun mission isn't so impressive. I just like flying it because I am about that age where the Saturn is just the bestest rocket in the whole wide world (until we land on Mars of course)

I'm looking forward to 1.0 when I hope I will be able to make it completely stock. The lander always has been stock. The only mods the rest of it uses are DRE and proc fairings (and FAR, RPM, KAC etc but they don't affect the .craft file), both of which have been hinted at...
