This mod is evil!

There I was, flying a mkIV spaceplane up to orbit when the left intake became clogged. Used TAC Fuel Balancer to even out the remaining intake only for that one to become clogged.

It takes a long time to flatspin from 38KM

Uh oh. Looks like I have to buff intakes (should probably buff jet engines too.)

I'm working on integrating some of my work into the dangIt core (intakes, coolant) as well as adding some new stuff (sound alarms, extra info.) so I'll buff these in DangIt Alpha 5, which should be out within the week (also will come with a Entropy update for compatibility with the dangIt update.)

In the short term, you might consider manually buffing them by editing Gamedata/entropy/ModuleManager/intakes.cfg to increase MBTF and Lifetime :)

Ok, this looks perfect for my planned recreation of ALL Space shuttle flights...Could you please make an addition for a heat shield failure?

This is an... Interesting idea. Unfortunately, I don't really know what a good 'failure' for a heat shield would be besides 'your heatshield has failed and you are going to die in the next 60s.' From a gameplay POV that doesn't seem fun at all :( . However in the future I'm looking at extending DangIt! to allow for impacts and engine exhaust to effect parts failure chance, so perhaps that could be combined with (yet another future plan) the idea of gradually degrading parts to allow for a Coulombia-type Failure of SRB Issue ==> Damage Tiles ==> Reentry failure.

I'll definitely take a look in the future.

P.S. You can make your own! Just tweak the AblativeShielding of your heat shield to lower than recommended, and tada: Reentry failure (assuming you are using Deady Reentry here)

to be honest, the reason is so I can recreate STS-107's disintegration on reentry (if you remember February 1, 2003)

OK! All i'm saying is that if you are using Deadly Reentry you could achieve the same effect by leaving a gap in your heat shielding.

Oh, and the series will be put on youtube AFTER, A) I find a workable recorder, and B) I have more time

Bug report - solid rocket fuel burns out over twice as fast as it does without this mod installed.

That is... Really really weird. I'm busy right now, but you can try deleting all the files in GameData/Entropy/ModuleManager that have SRB in their name, and that should fix it.

Hopefully I'll be able to put a real fix to this today.

I'll take a look, but I really need more information :huh: . First, I see you have a TON of mods installed. Can you try to reproduce the issue with the minimum number? Additionally, I really need to know more about the problem? Is it the hell kraken? Does the ship just disappear?

Hope we can sort this out, but I really need more info :confused: to figure it out!
