A Wormhole kraken ate my Mechjeb

So I pulled up my career save today and saw I had 4 flights going. I only remember three (Two probes and a space plane that was still on the runway when the game crashed last night).

SO I pulled up the tracking station and saw this.

Now the ATV-1 'Buzbee' was an ATMOSPHERIC test vehicle, built in the SPH. It was never meant to go into space...nor did it even take off from the runway. So I was confused.

So naturally I took control of it and found this.

Just alone, floating in the far reaches of the solar system.

Ya...weird.

Too bad this little guy is doing a better job getting into space than my career currently. .90 has been an eye opener on how bad I am at designing rockets, now that I have limits to weight and height. Jeb is already dead, and I have another guy stuck in orbit between the Mun and Kerbin.

I think this proves the mech jeb is cheating, not using mech jeb. Mech jeb itself is cheating.

Mechjeb does good math though. Mechjeb takes away the tediousness of docking with the same station in kerbin orbit a dozen times.

But apparently my Mechjeb found a wormhole in his spare time. Mechjeb needs a shorter leash.

On a side note, I notice there is this undertone of anti-mechjeb going on. If not for using mechjeb for creating nodes, I would still be struggling with docking manually. When my first rescue a kerbal contract came up, I did not even have patched conics. I was able to get within 5 meters just because I knew what I had to do from earlier games and watching mechjeb. Watching youtube videos did not help, because they do not tell you how to understand the data, just "burn here, burn when target is here, etc". Same with getting to the Mun the first time ack in .18 when I started. All the videos just said "wait till the Mun is 10 degrees off the horizon and burn prograde" Well that did not explain to me WHAT was happening. How do I apply this to other planets? I am not a fan of this fly by the seat of your pants. I like numbers, I like data, and the biggest reason I like mechjeb over engineer is the versatility of the interface, and that I can customize windows to show only what I need, and Mechjeb is really good about giving numbers, helping me understand how things change when I do something.

but I digressed.

Merry Christmas.

Where you using hack grav for any test flights? I once built a ramp next to the VAB and the next day found it spread across the orbit of Dres in individual pieces just like this. Are there any other random bits of debris labeled the same? They would be under debris rather than ships in the tracking center.

Oh and a note as to the use of mechjeb. I don't use mechjeb at current day, but when I was just starting out I originally learned how to dock, align orbits, and transfer planets with mechjeb. All of which would have taken me much more time to figure out if I hadn't used Mechjeb.

Later!

I did not mean to imply that at all, I've used mech jeb in the past and am ok with other people using it.

I meant to imply the mech jeb part has gained conscience and access to the debug menu or something and is cheating, not the player.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
