[0.90.0] Textures corrupted and distoted

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I'm running Linux Mint 16 64-bit and since I'm on vacation and cant access my stationary computer, I have not been able to verify this with another computer. However, it seems like I'm not the only one experiencing this:

Excellent stuff but... where do we go for bugs :(? My Steam on Ubuntu 14.04 just updated the game and now when I launch it I see everything as a skeleton, there's no surface and the sky blue is all over the place.

This description matches my problem exactly.

This happens every time I start the game and start a save. But oddly enough, this did not happen the first time I started the game and I cant see that I did anything differently the second time game. My problem is also similar to this one, although I have never had any problems with any version of KSP before 0.90.0 ( http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/100776-Terrain-textures-glitched-out ).

My KSP log: http://pastebin.com/T3111Sj0 (note that my laptop is a bit slow but 0.90.0 is the only KSP-version that is slow like heck)

My KSP settings: http://pastebin.com/81Q6uStt

Here is a screen shot of what it looks like: Pq6AbR0.png

Do you have your logs?

I really can't tell what's going on from a picture.

I need the logs to tell what's going on.

Also, your system seems to be well under the recommended settings for KSP, so don't expect high performance out of it.

It seems you are running an intel video driver. If you have an internal discrete chip

I run windows, not Linux, but for fixing bugs like this, re-installing Kerbal Space Program usually works. Obviously, you should take your saves (Or games) with you once you re-install Kerbal Space Program.

Already tried that. Does not work anymore.

Yes, my laptop is slow but handles KSP surprisingly well and I haven't had any performance problems with "normal sized" rockets.

I also had this issue, figured I would give my information in the event that it helps the devs to resolve it.

I have an Optimus system. I experience this issue only with my Intel GPU, not my Nvidia GPU. Disabling PPFX reverts the screen to normal on an Intel GPU.

Here are my logs:

Thanks a bunch Kendrick and Fenrir Oorgata! Marking thread as solved. It seems like disabling PPFX in graphics menu solves the problem with my Intel GPU.
