There's the link for it.

Tell me what you think.

But don't tell me how good it is for KSP but gaming in general.

If I were to buy it I would start by upgrading RAM and Processor.

And HDD' s arnt that expensive

Please explain you vote below especially if you say it's useless cause I want to know why you think it's useless.

No do not buy it, it's improperly labeled with much conflicting information, "4.4 ghz, 2.2ghz dual core!! Effectively running at 5ghz!" (Seriously, which one is it?)

2 things remain consistent, the lowest clock speed listed on this page is 2.2ghz, and the hard drive is said to be 80gb. Both of which are terrible.

Unless you want something to tinker with, don't buy this.

If you are going to buy a pc to upgrade it, build one from scratch. it sounds scary but once you dive in feet first its so easy. there's a build thread somewhere on the forums here, and i recommend "building" it on pcpartpicker.com.

On that site when you select a motherboard should only show parts compatible with that board(though it would be good to double check with the folks on the build thread).

once you have all the parts picked out, buy them individually on newegg or amazon or where ever they are cheapest for you.

Fact of the matter is there is no miracle cheap good gaming pc, though by no means does it need to be expensive.

Agree with r4pt0r, build it yourself. More bang for your money. Not that hard to do now days. I've built two solid gaming rigs over the years and saved myself about a $1,000 USD each over what a comparable off-the-shelf or custom PC would have cost me. I use Tom's Hardware as well as pcpartpicker as good sources for determining components and of course, YouTube for the how-to's.

One more tip, build with upgrades in mind, i.e. don't just check the compatibility of current components but look to the future. My first rig I got 6 years out of it with upgrades (playing at max settings) before games eventually outstripped it's capability. This time I spent a bit more on my Mobo so I could upgrade the CPU and RAM when I could afford it. Also check out hardware performance comparisons. You don't always have to go with the most expensive or uber-newest tech to get outstanding performance on hardware.

Good luck.

This guy does not seem knowledgeable and neglects to tell us which processor it actually is. Looking at what we do know I have the feeling it is a rather old one. I would stay away from this computer, even for light office duties. Without exaggerating, I think you can find these kinds of computer in the trash of being phased out at companies.

That thing is ANCIENT, at least 4-5 years old.

I'm an IT guy, and that Dell Optiplex minitower series sucked.

For instance, there was an issue with the power button welding which shorted on the motherboard after a few months of turning on the PC, bricking it.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
