Pawelk198604
I just wonder why NASA(or better why they don't ask other space agency) to send photo reconnaissance mission to make photos of landing site (especially mare tranquillitatis for obvious reasons), to silence the conspiracy believer on for all

Bill Phil
Didn't they? LRO? Or was the resolution not good enough to see it?
Wanderfound
It's also worth keeping in mind the Mythbusters experience: the response they got from the idiots to their Moon hoax debunking special was largely along the lines of "see, even Mythbusters can set up fake Moon footage! Proof that it was all done on a film set!".Rational argument is rarely effective at shifting people from irrational positions. With conspiracy twits, giving them any recognition at all just strengthens their delusion.
andrewas
With today's technology, faking proof of the landings would be trivial, Hollywood does work of high enough quality in almost every movie. You'd have to haul the idiots out to the moon so they could see it themselves, and by the time that's practical it would also be easy to fake the physical evidence, so even that won't convince them. sal_vager
They did, and the pics are clear enough. Now we used to have a rule specifically to prevent conspiracy theories, it's been changed to this:2.2H, Accusatory comments that lack merit, offer no proof of concept or are of a potentially slanderous nature; As long as people avoid that then this thread can remain open for discussion, thank you.
