I don't understand why my orbit isn't being recognized.

Obviously this orbit is within reasonable deviation, yet the game refuses to give me my much needed science. Is this a known bug that alot experience or is this just me?

What's your ascending and descending node saying ProjectAris? If it's 180 degrees off you're going the wrong way, also there is an issue with satellite contracts, you need a power generator, not just batteries, unfortunately launch clamps count so the contracts are offered too early.

But I see you have other satellites so I doubt you forgot the panels.

I do have power production on board, also batteries just in case. My ascending node is only off by a couple of degress. I may just scrap that satellite and just do another launch and hope that it accepts my orbit this time around. Just wanted to see if there was a quick fix to the problem. I only started playing last week, but already logged way too many hours in this game. Alot to learn, alot of errors but also alot of fun.

What does the contract say and can you show us the nodes please?

Is it a new probe (created after the contract?)

Some of the contracts also ask to include specific parts (such as a sci jr, thermometer, etc...). So it might be worth expanding that little "+ Notes" in the contract tool, or go to the contract building and reread the "fine print" to see if it requires anything else.

Additional instruments are given their own parameter; they're not put in the "+ Notes" section.

That seems to be the problem most of the time. I still get confused from the numbers if I'm doing a polar orbit, so I always look on the map and see which way the flashes are going.

I actually pretty much never pay any attention to the numbers and just match it visually using maneuver nodes. Hasn't failed me yet . The only time I do check the numbers is if I'm trying to determine from the contracts list which contract the particular satellite I'm flying is for (I tend to launch several at a time - it takes a week to get to Minmus after all lol)
