Mk3 fuselage FAR drag fix?

Hi, I was testing the Mk3 fuselage system in FAR and it seems to have very heavy drag. I made a basic plane, and it would bleed off all it's speed very quickly after I cut off the engines. Compared to the B9 HL fuselage system which exhibits a more gradual speed loss through drag.

Is this because of the lifting body code in the .cfg files?

They are not I assure you. Despite having a higher mass, the b9 HL fuselage has less drag than MK 3

The b9 hl fuselage has the default drag type, whereas mk3 has override with a lifting body module. Also on some of the mk3 parts the min drag is higher than max. The HL stuff also has some specific FAR code that I cannot even begin to wrap my head around!

None of the mk3 have a lifting body module; they are all commented out. Further, the override does not actually do anything if the lifting body module is not applied. Finally, when the lifting body module is not applied by the game (which it is not, because it is commented out), FAR will treat it as if it is the same as any other fuselage without wing lifting surface parameters.

They are identical in every way that matters to the HL fuselages. They will behave identically to the HL fuselages. I know because I've made planes with them, and they behave identically. There is absolutely nothing for me to change at all; the modules you complain about don't exist in code, the drag values are never used by FAR anyway, since it applies its own. I don't know what you want me to do, besides lie and say that I fixed them even though nothing changed.
