Thread keywords?

I've noticed that this thread, when viewed from the parent page (Add-on development) has an icon on the right, the tooltip for which seems to show keywords. What is it, how is it useful, and how do I use it?

From what I can see, there's an Add/Edit Tags button on each thread, down the very bottom of the page on the right hand side. Throw a few in there.

Naturally, you can only add or edit tags if you're the OP. I'd guess it's likely incorporated into the forum's Search function, though I'm not familiar with the details. Also, clicking on a particular tag will presumably show all threads with that tag.

Pretty much what Vexx said. When you create a thread, you can attach a bunch of tags to it. Basically words or phrases seperated by commas. Think of them as being like Twitter #hashtags that you can either click in the thread view, use the forum Advanced Search function to hunt for.

Tag: "see it's this thing here!" - Heh.
