Unable to run in 'true' Fullscreen

KSP Version: v0.90.0.705 Windows 8.1 64-bit

What Happens: The fullscreen option in-game sets the game to a 'windowed-fullscreen' mode, and no option appears to exist for 'true' fullscreen.

Mods / Add-Ons: All Stock

Steps to Replicate:

Launch the game and attempt to change fullscreen graphics option.

Result: Fullscreen option toggles windowed and windowed-fullscreen. Alt+Enter has the same effect.

Other Notes/Pictures/Log Files:

System has 3 monitors attached, all 'extended' (not surround) run off SLI Nvidia 780s. Primary monitor is 1440p 144hz G-Sync.

Main issue this causes is worse graphics performance and prevents G-Sync from operating.

As far as we've been able to tell, this is an issue that cropped up in the build of Unity KSP is currently on. There doesn't seem to be much we can do but sit tight until Squad manage to get it recompiled again on the next stable version... I'm reasonably sure Unity has a fixed build up, but I'd have to double check. Fingers crossed they get it sorted before 0.91.

Just curious, why would you (or anyone) want to run the game in "true fullscreen"? Add a -popupwindow launch parameter, and you'll get the same fullscreen, but with instant Alt-Tab and an ability to run the game in background (extremely useful during loading with lots of mods)

Well if that's all it is vexx hopefully it won't stick around - surprised to see such a glaring issue pop up in a Unity update.

biohazard - As I mentioned in the bug notes it prevents G-Sync from operating (as it requires fullscreen) and with an SLI system will lower your frame rate in some situations. With Kerbal being what it is however it's not a huge deal, just definitely needs to be on Squad's radar for upcoming patches.

@biohazard15 because in real full screen, the game suspends itself when I alt+tab out, and sometimes I prefer it that way, so that I can leave it running without the long wait for loading (mods) and do something else. I usually started it with -popupwindow and alt+enter it to full screen, and revert to popup when I want it for quick tabs.
