Since sarbian took the first smart-assed answer, I'll take the second. "You could always fork and update KerbCam yourself."

But seriously... what was it you liked about Kerbcam that Camera Tools doesn't have? If you give specifics, you're more likely to have people say "Oh, well did you try this?" or "Wow, I forgot about that. Let's suggest it for inclusion in Camera Tools!"
