Carlos

Doorknob

E ?

Frosty

Gamble

Hilltop

Igloo

Jasmin

Kermit - this is a key one

L ?

Munday

N ?

Risky

Snackpack - best one

Trashcan

Useless

V?

X?

Yonkers

Zesty

I think they should kerbal type words. Add in

I like your idea!

Often enough I have to spell out my weird last name in my line of work.

I work with millitary people so using the NATO phonetic alphabet they always understand on the first try!

You're missing the W though.

Perhaps use Xerxes for X? It's an old one used during WW1 and sounds cool in my opinion.

Also you could use the names of a Kerbal celestial body for the missing letters.

Eve, Laythe, Pol, Vall.

I suggest using only one though to avoid over-use, and overall getting-oldieness.

Technically, a phonetic alphabet should contain words that won't easily be misunderstood or misinterpreted in a context. So, using words like Risky, Useless, planet names or spaceship parts would not be advised.

Yeah, but this is a Kerbal phonetic alphabet. I'd expect to see things like "L as in Launch...no wait, turn the engines back off!" and "P as in Photon"...

Yeah, "risky" is close to "whiskey" in the NATO phonetic alphabet. Not a good idea!

Yeah its to verbalize the letter with a unique sound. Originally used for spelling out words but if I have 3 satellites called KS-2 (version 2) I call them Ajax Bingo and Carlos.

I did call a remote fuel/life support depot Snackpack.

I used it for some next generation designations. I doubt I need the whole alphabet but it's just fun.

I like quantum.
