Unicode in every KSP Layer for our German translation

Hello SQUAD,

we need your help. So my name is Allan Sche Sar, an administrator from the German community (www.kerbalspaceprogram.de).

At this time we work on an 100 % translation from KSP. So we translated e.g. your great part descriptions or the IVA views.

Our latest Status can you see here.

But we have problem. In German we have many mutated vowel in our words e.g. Ä or ß

The problem is, that we can not use everywhere the unicode. So can your fixed the problem for use or give us your font stile and we fix it, so that you can use the the fixed font stile?

Off topic but I thought the ß was phased out of the language in favour of double s.

Thats no off topic. So we woun't us ae for ä or ue for ü. And ß is not double s.

Yeah, Unicode support is -always- a good idea. They'll probably have to update some of the fonts they use, but it's definitely worth that time, I think. They'll have to be a little careful with filenames, though -- sometimes Unicode characters and filenames don't play well.

Well, that's a huge [removed to avoid infractions and due to 'overly sensitive kids']. Someone was not in their right mind to NOT use Unicode from the start...Unless your main objective is to segregate your game to a fraction of potential players.

SQUAD can you please tell me anything? What is your statement?

I have an answer from SQUAD. SQUAD fixed the unicode problem or unicode void, when she start the localization from KSP. She say, that they begin, when KSP is complete.
