Here people can get ideas for missions, if they run out! Feel free to post ideas and i'll add them on the list!

List:

Make a Laythe Colony.

Make a Duna refueling station.

Land a B-Class astroid (Or bigger) on top of the VAB.

Colonize an E-Class astroid in LKO. (Extra: After you colonize it with 20 Kerbal capacity, send it on escape trajectory.)

Set up a coms unit around Kerbin. (One unit is 20 satellites). (Extra: Launch a unit in one launch.)

Put a space station in Kerbin stationary orbit. It must have 10 kerbals.

Put a Space station in orbit around Tylo with 15 Kerbal capacity. It must have one orange tank of fuel and a largo mono-propellent tank.

Impact Kerbol.

Explore Easter Eggs.

Put a boat on Laythe or Eve.

Do a multiple planet flyby (The voyagers).

Visit an astroid, don't redirect it, and come home.

Set up comm sattelite constellation around kerbin (I probably won't be doing this anytime soon as I don't run remotetech, but the idea remains on the books)

Large space station in kerbin-stationary orbit, about a quarter planet ahead of the KSC (so somewhere around the horizon when viewed from KSC). This would act as a refuel and crew rotation outpost for large, re-usable interplanetary vessels. Would hold crew quarters, a lof of fuel tanks and a lab + a battery of small MkI capsule return-to-Kerbin pods so you can easily return sience to Kerbin and reset the science equipment on the docked ships. These can also act as escape pods in case of emergency.

Large, re-usable interpletary motherships. These would be capable of transporting a large amount of kerbals (20-40) for colony rotation, as well as have a ton of science equipment and a complement of around 6-9 docked probes/sattelites. Would also have their own dedicated landers/crew transports to bring crew to and from colonies on the planets below.

Redirect a class E astroid to Kerbin or Munar orbit and colonize it (probably Munar orbit for me as I'm already planning to have the big staging area space station for kerbin)

Not sure about this one yet: colonise class E asteroid, send it to interplanetary space on a circular orbit around Kerbol (probably somewhere between Dres and Jool or something). Could act as staging area and general deep-space stand-alone colony. This would take a HELL of a lot of fuel though. Or hyperedit.

General space stations in the Jool system, Laythe being the obvious primary candidate. Floating base would be amazing, but I'm not sure if I would be able to pull it off and crew rotation would be really difficult.... Unless of course you build a transport boat and build the base close to shore...

Refuel station in high Jool orbit seems like a no-brainer.

Refuel station in high Jool orbit seems like a no-brainer.

Refuel station between Vall and Tylo is very practical if you do not use resource utilization mods. You can bring fuel and life supplies (if you use such a mod) with huge >100 t tanker spacecrafts and distribute it for smaller landers. If Station have a tug ship it can bring Laythe and Tylo ascent modules from low orbits and get them or men and science back to the Station. If you use life support and extra room for pilots, you can park large interplanetary crew ships with many hitchickers and life supplies for years to Station too and let Kerbals use smaller ships for investigate moons.

couple other ideas I've been toying around with:

- send a probe into interplanetary space (note, I am not responsible for kraken attacks on vessels of players who attempt this)

- send a sattelite in very low Kerbol orbit (don't forget to add the heatshield) + sacrificial Kerbol impact probe

Build a ring of asteroids, then find a bigger asteroid and slam-dunk it through the center.

this one sounds pretty great, but seeing as we can't do halo orbits in KSP, wouldn't this just mean smashing it into whatever celestial body your ring happens to be orbiting?

Definitely; my thinking is that the asteroids would be docked together with claw-modules, forming a physically attached hoop.

Come on, it's time to get hyped.

I already have an objective that should keep me busy for a while.

I built a 34 ton rover which is essentially a portable science lab. It has been designed to be durable enough to operate on Eve. The plan is to build an additional setup so it can be sent to Tylo. Then complete both those landing objectives with a Kerbal mission for each.

And of course the only logical way to launch such a vehicle into space is to carry it piggyback on a 40-ton capable SSTO.

Pick your favorite planet or moon. Build a ground base, an orbital base storing plenty of fuel, and a lander or spaceplane capable of ferrying crew back and forth between the two. Bonus points: do this for two or more moons of Jool, and include a ferry to move crew between them.

Visit an asteroid. No redirecting it, no dragging it into orbit somewhere, just go and check it out.

Do a multi-planet flyby probe, a la the Voyagers.

Put a boat on Eve or Laythe.

Land a Kerbal on the Mun and bring him back to Kerbin - within the 18 ton 30 part limit you start with in career.
