modded KSP install wont load (possibly due to replacing graphics driver)

Recommended Posts

2 days ago, I replaced my computers graphics driver as I've read that it could improve performance while gaming. After that I ran my modded KSP install which was being laggier than usual. The next time I tried to play that install It wouldn't load at all. So I removed the new graphics driver and replaced it with the old one, and it still didn't work. Please help.

original graphics driver:

Intel v15.22.8.64.2462 (2011/08/31)

new:

Intel HD Graphics Driver v15.28.22.64.34

Intel Chipset Device Device v 10.013 was also installed

system specs:

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)

Ram: 4 gigabytes (3.75 gigabytes usable)

KSP Version: 0.90.0 (32 bit)

(via Windows start task manager)

stock KSP:

CPU: 80% (46% average)

RAM: 2.21 GB

Time: 2 minutes, 34 seconds

modded KSP (at hang up/crash):

CPU: 100%

RAM: 2.48 GB

Time: 35 seconds

(all mods are current)
