MOD QUESTION: Welding mod for 0.90.0?

I want to try SWdennis's method out about making huge crafts, and I downloaded the mod. I loaded up the game, but the welding button was not there! Is there any way that there's a welding mod like this that is 0.90.0 compatable?

There are restrictions on what you can weld into a single part. In general, that means *one* of a particular thing like a solar panel, reaction wheel, probe core, docking port, multi-way RCS thruster. All lifting surfaces will need to all have the same orientation, etc.
