So I tinkered around with my shuttles again. By replacing the SRB with LFO boosters I managed to get this thing up easily into LKO with a payload of 82 tons. Even put chutes on the jettisoned engine so it can be recovered if you use the Stage Recovery mod.

I believe you can get this to Munar orbit with smaller payloads, if you try. Cargo bay is spaceous enough to carry 3.75m parts.
