New Parts Glitch

Recommended Posts

Recently, a bug has been occurring in my game. Whenever I try to make a spaceplane with the new parts added in 0.25, some of them turn into old spaceplane parts. An example: When I connect two fuel tanks to each other, the first being the old Mk2 Fuselage and the second being the new Mk2 Liquid Fuel Fuselage, when I put the structure on the runway, they have both become the Mk2 Fuselages. This is a very annoying glitch. Have any of you encountered this glitch? I hope you can help me. (Also, if this is posted in the wrong place, sorry)

Sounds like you've got duplicate parts in your GameData folder.

Best thing to do is remove everything in the GameData folder and then have Steam or the store Patcher update to the latest version and get all the proper files back. :)

Not specifically that glitch, but similar glitch with other part mods.

You've got two parts with the same name

PART
{

// --- general parameters ---
name = mk2whatever <------Make sure that no other part is using this same name
module = Part
author = . .. . .

simply change the name of one to mk2whateverAlt

make sure the alt version is the non-squad variant.
