Spaceplanes Additions: Flaps

Can someone create a mod that adds flaps into the game? I think it would be pretty cool for our space planes (especially the larger ones) to be able to deploy the flaps while on approach to help slow down.

FAR, NEAR, and Firespitter all add flaps.

As mentioned, several mods add flaps. Flaps in stock aerodynamics are pretty pointless though.

Also, Flaps do not help you slow down. They keep you from falling out of the sky after you slow down.

Actually, flaps do help slow down as when extended, they start to produce a lot of drag. However, the extra wing aspect ratio allows the plane to continue flying at the ever slower airspeeds.
