Science not cumulative bug

Recommended Posts

Hi, so I've had Kerbal for a while now and I've had this bug that instead of accumulating science points it replaces the previous value with the amount I just receive after a mission. As you can see this makes progressing in career mode very difficult. This bug has persisted over multiple installs and even across computers. If anyone could help me with this it would be very appreciated.

Err what? That's a new one to me. You aren't reverting, are you? (Revert to VAB/Revert to Launchpad is effectively reloading an older save, resetting everything..)

I think this is a case of mistaken reading on your (OP) part. The screen that shows how much science you got from your mission has, at the bottom, the science gained in

small, dark text

while the total science you have earned in total is in

LARGE, BRIGHT BLUE TEXT

So it says something like:

science gained this mission: 14.3

TOTAL SCIENCE: 105

This leads you at a glance to think you got 105 science this mission, when in fact you only got 14.3 and your total is now 105.
