5thHorseman's skybox is the best in my opinion. It's old back from UniverseReplacer. To this day I've yet to see it topped in fidelity and realism.

Yes, the graphics are out dated. The graphics on the terrain are about as equal to Counter strike 1.6 which is a 12-13 year old game.

Skybox needs to be "live", not just a texture but stars rendered as points on-the-fly. Traditional skybox techniques break down in space.

The game's graphical style is Modern in the sense that it does not limit itself based on technical difficulties or perceived necessity. The realistic grittiness of 2006 is gone may it rest forevermore. It's implementation is not modern, but because the game is under development it is not obsolete either. The graphics appear to be under development and will probably be improved following 1.0.

I frankly don't care too much for the graphics, so I turn down all the 'extras' except for physics, gotta respect them physics. I even play it muted because I just wanna orbit, and stuffs
