Ok, with the advent of 1.0 coming, (It's going to be so awesome) so many new and exciting things! But, what about those few little things you're going to miss, like; "Goodbye in-fi-glide, *sniff* I'll miss you" or "Bob,,,Bill,,, What do you mean you can't pilot a ship anymore?!" *groan* "Ah, man!" Anyone else got any snibbles?;.;

Infiniglide and crash-aerobreaking. I mean, I've been broken of the habit of abusing both by FAR, but some of my fondest memories of this game still include utterly destroying the laws of physics with aerodynamic wonkyness. Fare thee well, friends...

I won't miss a single thing. Why? Because you can have multiple installations of KSP, that's why! Infiniglide? 0.90. Fall-apart rockets? 0.23. Terrible graphics? Anything before 0.18.

;)

I'll certainly miss the current chase camera mode. It's invaluable for docking.

Well, we don't know for sure that the new one will be terrible for docking...... (you're probably right though :/ )

Off-topic, but where does the word "snibble" come from? I've personally never heard it

It was a surprise when they could not pilot a ship, and I got that message (you screwball you didn't put a pilot on your ship). I think I am going to go back and give them pilot status just for nostalgia's case (particularly since I have been instructed on how to edit the persistent file)

"in-fi-glide"?

What ever, you know what I mean.

I'll miss being able to do crazy aerocaptures with impunity, but I'll be angry if the current chase cam is removed outright. For me it's the only way to fly planes.

I'm actually kind of looking forward to the challenge.

I know I could use Deadly Reentry, but I don't want to develop bad habits from that, and it'll probably be easier to learn fresh in 1.0

Things I'll snibble:

1. Flying straight up to 350km, looking around, and coming back like a meteor.

2. Building fantastic looking rockets right out of sci-fi.

3. Struggling with RSC thrusters during landing to get zero horizontal velocity.

4. Genderless Kerbal jokes.

5. Hearing the excuse that it has bugs because it is still early access.

6. Drop ships.

7. Building planes before it was intuitive

8. Challenging stock Eve accent

9. Launching the whole damn thing because I don't want to build it in orbit

10. Everyone building different looking rockets to suit their playstyle

Of course these are all just snibbles as I am all aboard the hype train for what looks like the greatest release yet.

I mean for this release release, do we really have to wait till experimentals?

I think I snibble or two may be had as I tow my current fleet of SSTO's off to the scrap heap, but then again, by now I really should have learnt to not get emotionally attached to my craft....sniff.

Also a little apprehensive about how the nerfing will change some core designs that I've come to consider as standard. But that said, I often think how I wish I'd never heard of KSP, so I could discover it all over again, so maybe this will be as close to that as I can get!

Turning that on is what docking mode should do :P

ewww, no! Sorry, but I'd hate that! (if you mean docking mode should switch on the chase cam automatically). Not that I ever use docking mode for docking (it's purely rover driving mode for me!). That would be horrible for rover driving! (I actually don't like any of the automatic camera-mode changes, that switch to orbital mode once your Pe clears 20km really annoys me and I try to remember to hit V as soon as I launch so it doesn't happen.)
