Ares Mission to Mars. Phobos-Hole Discovery.

KSP mission on Mars, Phobos and Deimos - all in one go.

Mission architecture is based on the novel "Voyage" by Stephen Baxter but it can't be considered as a recreation. Instead of Venus swingby the crew will go straight to Mars (fast conjunction) and then to Phobos and Deimos.

Is the phobos hole based on real life or simply a RSS/KSP addition?

No, it's just a terrain glitch in the heightmap and I found it completely accidentally when my probe was orbiting Phobos.

Have you modified the output of solar panels? They produce only 600 Watts at Mars and that's not much for 3 Apollo Command Modules.
