CKAN for OSX, please

As an OSX player of KSP I find OSX CKAN hard to use and clunky, which is very disappointing, it is actually faster for me to download mods off of spacedock. I would love to adapt it for OSX myself, but my knowledge of swift is pretty minimal at this point, so I would like to request that a more experienced swift coder make a dedicated OSX version of CKAN.

yes! please!! we need this!! it is a necessity! I cant even get KAS installed correctly! bad part is I cant code

but PLEASE DO THIS! it'll make Kerbal Even BETTER because of all the easier to get mods!

A pure python client (especially a CLI one) should run anywhere python does - and python is a standard part of a OSX install.

Well if you go the cmd line interface way then you have

IIRC CKAN is a Mono Program. So if you have full Mono setup installed on your system (OS X / macOS, Linux, Windows) the CKAN client should work just fine.

Be aware the Mono framework install is very heavy, and (if like many Macbook users) you're running on a smallish SSD drive, it can be a problem

CKAN will launch, it is just incredibly glitchy and imputing text is weird and laggy

Yea but he can't even manually install KAS properly (which is literally put the KAS folder in your gamedata folder).  CLI and python?
