Levitation caused by super conductive materials is nothing new, this has been around for years. Still pretty cool, but it\'s not until a material is discovered/created that is super conductive in 'normal' temperatures it can be used for something more exciting than levitating tiny objects.

Not sure why this video in particular is getting so much attention

Sure its not new, but its a brilliant demonstration of the properties of such an apparatus, showing how truly 'locked in' the object is once inside the field. When he flipped over the magtrack and that thing was cruising around inverted, its hard not to get a little giddy at the future possibilities.

And its a GOOD thing that someone is excited about a science-related video, there are far worse videos out there that might get some hits.

My science-senses are tingling! I know this effect has been around for quite a looooooong while in terms of scientific progression, but it still makes me pine for my undergraduate days, building a 30 yard supercollider in the dorm\'s sub basement.
