Since I'm rolling up with the update to Road to Kosmos some questions emerged... A) Noticed that some of Almach parts are now Vostok_*, is this change temporary? What happened to PPTS? If it won't be seen soon, can I use the model with my own config while yours isn't ready? C) Will be Angara seen any soon? I can repurpose some old parts for it if you don't mind. I appreciate the stuff you do, especially the Baikonur looks really impressive, but the answers would bring clarity.

My suggestions for the pack: give Soyuz orbital modules an CO2 scrubber like IRL, give Almach capsule a 6-7 day supply, with the increase of electric power in SM or the capsule itself. TKS orbital blocks might have around 30 or even 60 days of supplies (even FCB on the Mir modules were used for cargo transfer, i.e. Kvant-2 delivered new spacesuits for EVA, a big supply of food etc)

It's the concept dated somewhere around 1990 I posted earlier: The small module, it looks like it's from another project of Mir-2, there were several variants developed (one of which, #4, became Rassvet/Pirs/Poisk type), I used variant #1 as a mediocre one: 1 - 2.9m module on a discardable Progress service module, launcher is Zenith 2 - 2.9m module with an attached Progress SM, Zenith launcher 3 - 2.9m module, with a brand new tug/upper stage attached on top (!) of the module. Launchers: Zenith and... Ariane-5! Quite a surprise, actually 4 - 2.4?m module on a discardable Progress SM, launched by Soyuz rocket 5 - enlarged (2.9m) module on a Progress SM, Soyuz launcher 6 - even larger module, which uses fairings as walls, while the docking accessories are covered with a small nose cone Scatterer and EVE, you are right

My first Tantares missions in KSP 1.0.3/1.0.4 were Mir-2 and Buran on Energia and a MZhM-1 block on Zenith... Wow, post #888! Kinda, but with the upper node on the border levels, and offset slightly the bottom node for the capsule.

I think you can make a curved upper boundary of decoupler or make it totally hollow, it will be ok to use it with other parts and fit the spherical capsule at the same time.

Disable all the reaction wheels, use RCS only and do all the maneuvers slowly.

Remove partDataBase.cfg from root KSP folder, it will work then. It works ok with the new ports, just use offset tool to slightly put them inside, it fits like a charm. Aaand Expedition-1 arrives to my new revamped ISS!

Talking about part alternatives... I prefer having all of them! My new ISS has APAS 1.25m as American CBM and 0.9375m APAS as a true Russian APAS. 0.625m one can be used for Gemini, for instance.
