  1. Awesome, I was hoping that would be it, makes it ideal for pioneer testing. Thanks for the quick reply!
  2. Hi, I was just doing some prototyping on Kerbin for a Laythe base. I got everything designed but then I realized something. The kolonization dashboard doesn't include Kerbin, so it isn't clear what the rating is there. Is it 500% in which case I'm getting 25x the output from farms that I would on Laythe (the whole mission will starve,) or is it 100%, meaning my base on Laythe will support everyone initially, but over time it will be producing 25 times as much food as necessary to support the Kolony. This presents a major engineering problem. Being over engineered isn't an issue, beyond gross inefficiency in the future, but under engineering would mean the whole thing falls on it's face. Does anyone know the rating outputs on kerbin are based on?
  3. I really hope 1.1 is out before Christmas. That when I deploy overseas
  4. See, that's exactly it. I like the idea of establishing a space economy not so based on contracts. I generally try to develop infrastructure in most of my saves. UKS production chains, microwave transmission chains and the like. Eventually I can drop enough stuff back on the landing pad to make enough money to pay for things I can't make in space, like fertilizer or crew members. The idea of grinding out all the science and money on top of building things from scratch gets to feel like a chore.
  5. Nice. All installed. Doesn't have interstellar depleted uranium, but I will can work with that.
  6. Found out that this was a result of not enough radiators. Apparently I need 20 huge radiators now to cool a fusion reactor. I am sure it wasn't like that before.
  7. For some reason I'm only getting 3.1 GW out of an upgraded 3.75M fusion reactor. Not sure what's wrong. I was all set to start building my microwave network, but it's going to take a long time if it's only going to get 5% out of them. They don't seem to get any more output if they scale up with tweakscale, either.
  8. Alright, couple follow up questions. Would I be able to store tritium and deuterium in an asteroid? Would it require power like the cryostat tanks? I am thinking 4 million tritium might provide enough helium-3 to power a good number of power stations. I am also thinking of using an asteroid as a depleted fuel dump. Basically have 10 or 20 mining/power stations on the Mun beaming power around until I get something more advanced. I am starting over for 0.90, and it's a TAC LS, RT, Interstellar, every USI mod, and a dozen other mods type thing. I like to have a general plan on how I want to structure my entire logistics system. As it stands, every planet and moon has a role, even if its just supplying food to LKO power stations. I am currently developing the Kerbin system and don't intend on leaving there until unlocking fusion power. By that time all the fission plants should be running, so I can't really wait until I am hollowing out the asteroid see if it holds nuclear waste, because if it doesn't, I need to drastically change the plan.
  9. Will ART place resources in asteroids from FASA or Custom Asteroids?
  10. Well, finally found something that I had to make an account for. I have ART, and am considering a combination with FASA Asteroids. I figure a 200m asteroid would make a difficult if not impossible challenge to redirect and make a ridiculously huge fuel depot in orbit of Jool. But that's all hypothetical. Will ART work with an asteroid that's been placed? How about Customer Asteroids?
