  1. Game which require RTX card to play (but still cant hold 60 FPS on even TOP-end cards) dont have DLSS/FSR and ray tracing.
  2. Dont be so naive. As i say - they cant change all the math.
  3. Man... i saw it so many time. This talks about pre/post-release optimizations. Let's be honest - this not gonna happen. For example - Elite Dangerous Odyssey. It was POOOORLY optimized on alpha. A bit better on release, and since 2 years it still not match it's own requirements and cant give stable 60 FPS. Probably they can a bit boost FPS somehow and polish engine calculations. But they cant change all the math by the click. And wont do that just because simpler would be made a new game.
  4. Man... there is no even close to MP if it ever be added at all What i say... there is no even science/tech tree.
  5. @PD_Dakota There is will be DLSS on launch? Cuz require RTX as minimum and didn't have DLSS is kinda weird...
  6. Forspoken is not a good example. Also there is possible to make game with 2000's visuals which cant run stable 60 even on RTX 4090. It not mean it's new/next generation. It means only that devs forgot to optimize.
  7. You think this is RTX 3080 lvl graphics?
  8. In case that KSP2 was announced in 2019, when there was no any sign of NVIDIA 30 seriers and even 10th gen intel processors, i can admit that i was right when i conclude that Devs lied to us preemptively about game. These sys req clearly shows that game was in active development only for 1-2 years. Also this explain why they "delay" game. Just simply because there was no game. Over these 3 years we've seen a lot of beaftiful games: Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, CoD MW'19, CoD MW'22, Dead Space Reamke, etc. etc. etc. And non of these games wants rtx 20 seriers as bare minimum. I played every game above (and a lot of other games) on my rig (i5 9400, 2060S, 16Gb 3200 DDR4, NVMe SSD) with stable/mostly stable 60 on ~high settings with 1440p screen. KSP 2 clearly not at the cutting edge of 3d graphics to require such hardware which not even existed when KSP2 was formally announced. This only again shows devs incompetence and wet state of the game. Which i warned many times. Be ready to absolutely non-optimized game with constat freezes and uplayable FPS.
  9. I've try to play KSP few days ago and face serious perfomance issues. I have a far above requirements PC (in case that last engine upadte was about in 2016) i5 9400, 16gb 3200 ddr4, NVMe SSD, RTX2060S KSP works fine most of the time, but switch lights ON on the surface(light source number setting on 4-64), or enetering atmo when atmo effects even on low setting drop my FPS below even 30. Anyone faced this? And how to fix it, if possible? Or it's engine fatal flaws?
  10. @Nate Simpson What did you do over these 3 years of delays delays delays if in the end early access release will not have even a science tree?????
  11. I hope you know why feb. 24 is not a good date for celebrating anything... I better wait a week more.
  12. There is no conspiracy. Game is dead. It's simple. ZERO presistence on every last game show. What else signs you need to be sure?
  13. Covid stiked AFTER announce. It can be excuse for 1st delay, but cant explain why "almost ready" game became so unfinished that require 4+ additional years. And no - scope didnt change since the announce. All the scope was shown on gamescom 2019. Multiplayer, planetary bases, interstellar travel. All this was announced in 2019 with target release in march 2020. So what scope you guys talking about?
  14. Read above^ If they planned initial release to mach 2020 - they should have almost ready game on gamescom 2019 There is no any logical explanation how these 8 months streched in 4+ years.
  15. Dev diaries and show & tell too basic and small to give us any real information about possible gameplay and making a ome more model of rocket engine isn't worth 3 delays and 4 additional years. Dont you think so? Also imagine - oficially canceling such a big release could do much more marketing damage than countless delays and since team under NDA we dont know what they work on in fact. Probably they dont eve know it themselfs. When as average gamedev employee you ordered to make engine model - you just do it.
  16. I predict delay to 2023. So no mistakes here. And repeat: They ALREADY planned release to march 2020 when show the preview on gamescom. Before any sign of plague. So if we accept the hypothesis that they not lied to us preemptively - game would be almost ready, cuz obvious to anyone that you cant make such a game from scratch to release in 6-7 months. And there is no ANY single explanation why this "almost ready" state stretched for ~4 years COVID can't affect it so hard. If, IF(!!!) They arent lied to us preemptively. Simple.
  17. Well, for such people even invented a term - missing in action. When you understand but cant proof. So fine. KSP isn't dead, it's MIA.
  18. As he spoken about march 2020, then 2021, then 2022...
  19. Another devblog without actual gameplay. After 4 years of announce and 3 delays. Who still ever believe this game isn't dead?
  20. Yeah, sure... 4 years isnt enough. (2019-2023 + unknow amout of time before the announce) Just let them set release to 2030. For solid reliability. At least then they will dont need to delay it every year over and over again...
  21. What scope, man? They reveal whole scope on gamescom and no additions so far (maybe i miss something, remind me please)
  22. No complaining. No negativity. Just solid facts.
