  1. "Save picture than look at it" Or you could just right click, open image in new tab. It looks fancy but a little impractical. The signature itself is rather basic with most of the picture missing. 6/10
  2. So subtle even I don't get it. Who's Brian Regan? Banned for wasting rocket fuel.
  3. Probably. There's the exact same typo on the Facebook post too.
  4. I would imagine that's just too high and too fast for science sensor to properly register the atmosphere.
  5. 1/10 I saw you on the thread I was just looking at, but that was the first time I've seen you.
  6. On the contrary, I found MechJeb very useful when I first started playing, because it showed me what to do and how to do it. But let's not argue about what autopilots may or may not be good for.
  7. 9/10 You're all over the place. And you joined in the same month as me.
  8. It doesn't always rain here, you know. Although there has been quite a bit recently. Related Quote:
  9. Why is it possible to send yourself a private message? (I just discovered that by accident) EDIT: Now that's a spectacular 300th post...
  10. TheMoonRover But I usually just call mine things like "Duna Rover" or "Minmus Hovercraft" etc. How about naming them after land animals, for example: the mouse, the kitten (for small rovers), the badger, the wolfhound (for larger ones), the tiger, the rhino (for even bigger ones), or the elephant (for a roving base)
  11. I heard you the first time False, they got picked up much later. The user below me has crashed a kerbal into the sun (a.k.a. kerbol)
  12. In fact I'd go so far as to say having more than 4GB is relatively uncommon, at least for laptops. So such a mod would still be useful after 1.1 hits.
  13. For some reason my reply to the media group application thing need moderator approval. Do all posts in the announcements forum require moderator approval? And if so, does that apply anywhere else? And if that isn't the reason, what is?
  14. Hmm...... I'm not sure whether to apply or not. I'm getting increasingly large numbers of views. The video I uploaded late on Sunday already has over 500 views, which came as a bit of a shock when I checked this morning. But I only have six seven eight subscribers. And I'm rapidly getting better at making these videos - even if I am using Windows Movie Maker. EDIT: it appears my subscriber count is starting to go up. I find it irritating that the YouTube analytics page doesn't update in real time, and completely ignores the past 2-5 days.
  15. Ike's radius, not Duna, but that number is still to big. Now you mention it, I think I may have posted the wrong set of numbers. Bear with me a minute... Yes, it is. Let me check that. Correct. Clearly I did post the wrong set of coordinates. I doubt it. If it was a ship, it should be possible. If it was a planet (or other celestial body) it should be possible. But it's neither. Apparently it's still in the code but the game refuses to render it. - - - Updated - - - Fixed. That should be right now. I just selected the wrong ship in the save file. And to clarify, that's roughly the orbit your ship should be on to find the Magic Boulder at that UT (in a version where the Magic Boulder still existed)
  16. Says the guy who joined last month. And no, I didn't. The user below me joined the forums before me.
  17. Mods that every KSP player should have? Well, I would say none at all. Kerbal Engineer is always useful (I always have it installed). MechJeb is useful for showing beginners how it's done, and it's also useful for people who don't have time to do every single little thing (I had it installed for a long time, but I no longer need or want it). HyperEdit is useful for messing about or getting to places quickly (I use it when making videos). PreciseNode can be useful, particularly when not using MechJeb (I used to use it, then KSP updated to 0.90 and I couldn't remember what it was called. I'll see if I can find it again.) The Lazor System had a fun set of tools. Sometimes they were even useful. It's a pity it hasn't been updated for 1.0 Kerbal Alarm Clock could be useful to people who launch ridiculous numbers of ships at a time (I never really have more than 5 missions en route to anywhere, so I never bothered with it). Distant Object Enhancement is a nice little mod, the only graphics mod I use or would recommend - unless there's one which does good clouds for a sensible amount of RAM without replacing anything else. And I ought to have a look at this Asteroid Day mod everyone's been talking about recently. I've never had a bug which was persistent and annoying enough to warrant a bug fix mod, except for the 13 Hell Krakens I had at the Mohole while filming my latest video. But I wouldn't consider any of those to be essential.
  18. Same thing, bolded text on the forum disappears after closing a spoiler on the same post. Selecting the text fixes it. I first noticed it in the OP of [thread=60551]this thread[/thread] a week or two ago. Since then it seems to have been cropping up more and more. Oh, and guess what: Windows 8.1 Google Chrome Version 45.0.2454.85 m It's not even the most annoying recent bug in Chrome though. The number of times it's crashed or just frozen recently is getting ridiculous. Oddly it was ever since I cleared the internet cache thing. EDIT: Link to a test to see what disappears. It seems any formatted text disappears, with specific odd behaviour for bolded and struck-through text.
