Cool. I don't know why, but the bolded text bothers me for some reason. I think I have an idea why, not sure though. Anyways, 1.3 or bust!

This right here is the sentiment that baffles me the most.
People paid for a game. That game was delivered. End of story. Everything after that is a bonus, that we get for free. The only response should be 'thank you.'
So just because we get free content every so often we should let Squad be silent and not tell us anything? What if they release a virus with the newest update? Since it's free we should just say "thank you" because it was free. I mean you can't just say "thank you" to everything. It may be polite but it's not telling anyone what's wrong with something or how us consumers feel.

Squad: "We're going to do this."
Replies: "Don't do that. It's stupid."
Squad: "We did that."
Replies: "You shouldn't have done that. It's terrible."
Squad: "Here's what we're doing."
Replies: "You should do the other thing instead. Everything you do sucks. You ripped us off, you lazy jerks."
Squad: [Mournful silence.]
Replies: "Why don't you tell us what you're doing?"Not speaking as a moderator. Just saying.
Whatever appeals to the majority I guess.

Just a suggestion:
It's become pretty apparent to quite a few people here what they're going to find when they open up a KSP Weekly thread. Simply put, If you don't like what Squad is saying, don't bother to read the thread. It's not likely to change. It's the way it is now. Stop your damn whining about it and go do something else for a while instead, because y'all are cluttering up a perfectly good discussion space to say that you don't like the discussion.
If it's the same thing over and over again then what is there to discuss?

Probably because we'd yell at them for not posting the weeklys.
Most of us would, yeah.

Why not just make next weeks weekly "Nothing much happened, more of the same" if that is the reality and save us all a load of time?
Every week I hope there will be more than "Localisation, minor bug fix, that is all." and every week I am disappointed.
IMO the best course of action would be to just open up the API to the remainder of the internal hard coded variables so people who actually care can carry on working on the game through mods...
You could still do polish and marketing as well if you want because it seems to be your only aim these days.
If it's going to be the same thing over and over why even bother wasting time to post KSP Weeklies?

I don't like the sport that much but every time I go to visit one side of my family I always watch and enjoy it with them. No favorite team, but I think my family likes the Cowboys.
