  1. Command seats can't be filled through the crew assignment window since they are treated as docking ports and not crew-carrying parts.
  2. I have a feeling that the new ASAS was created with spaceplanes in mind. It works fairly good when flying planes, but when I try to use the ASAS with a rocket it performs extremely poorly. As far as the rest of the update goes, I am satisfied. The new space center is incredible, though there are some bugs with the ladders. The Mun looks and feels amazing. I haven't visited the other improved planets but Eve looks great in the map view. Crew Management doesn't really do anything right now so I have nothing to say about it. One more thing that I don't understand is the craft recovery system. The Recover button needs to be on the escape menu, as it is now I have to go through two loading screens to get to that button in the tracking station.
  3. When I play I feel like airhogging is just exploiting the current aerodynamics. I prefer to have one intake per engine and those intakes get put along the same stack as the engine.
  4. I visited some ships a few weeks ago that had some of the planes in the game, the USS North Carolina had one of the last remaining Kingfishers, and the USS Yorktown had a Dauntless and a Wildcat (and a lot of others that I can't remember). In real life they are WAY larger than I thought they would be.
  5. I used a joystick, it's a cheap Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.
  6. I almost forgot about this game, I started playing a few months ago but stopped since it was taking way too long to level up.
  7. Pushed back because they want to finish career mode first.
  8. A few days ago Maxmaps mentioned that Squad would like to have other space centers popping up for you to compete against.
  9. I must say that finale stream with EJ, Yarg, C7, PD, and N3X15 (sorry if I'm forgetting anyone) was the most enjoyable stream I've seen on KSPTV to date. Hats off to you guys.
  10. I just want to say thanks to Yarg for restoring the peace to the stream tonight.
  11. I think it's great, but the sizes of the procedural craters don't vary much. It would also be nice to see just a few large craters that are more recent and not covered in the smaller craters.
  12. You tried to go up a version and ended up going down a version. Nice job.
  13. It's just a troll, there hasn't been an update for Steam users
  14. KSP2? It's not a series, what could a KSP2 have other than graphics/stability changes?
  15. Well there's no way it will come out on the 20th. That is a Saturday, and most people at Squad don't work on weekends. Even if they did work on Saturday they wouldn't release it then because they would be unable to make a quick patch in case something is wrong with the initial release until Monday.
  16. There was a lot more excitement before 0.18 due to the dev streams each week and we got to hear more from the devs. Now it doesn't feel like there's much hype for this update and we're lucky if we hear about even small new features. It'd be great to have those streams back even if it was only for 20 minutes each week.
  17. I use stock parts but tools like Kerbal Engineer and Alarm Clock, so I'm not really sure what answer to put
  18. There are some on the KSP Tumblr, scroll down to the bottom of this page http://kerbaldevteam.tumblr.com/page/6
  19. It isn't option 2, the exact same map can be found on a terrain generation tutorial site from 2004 or so.
  20. In your first test rig the 6-way node did not attach to the structural beam. In the second test rig the tank won't attach because there's not enough room for it to fit. Keep in mind that even if you could get the tank to attach in the editor it will only be connected to one of those beams, not both.
  21. Is that screenshot from the test you did? I really hope you know that there are no docking ports on those ships...
  22. I know of a large canyon on Dres, not a deep crater though. There are some deep craters on Moho though, and it sounds like that's what you're talking about.
  23. I know that it is the reason they have said (in fact all of those reasons came from dev blogs), but I just think that resources need to be in the game before the groundwork for career mode has been made because resources would be critical for career mode.
