  1. @Ranillon Do you by chance have any mods that add other star systems? If so, its very possible the solar panels are locking onto the wrong star.
  2. If the next DLC were to be a planet making tool and a tech tree editor that'd be pretty great.
  3. I'd have to get that mod that lets me start on Duna if I end up catching a ride to Mars.
  4. I've voted "other" for the first two questions because I don't discriminate, and it usually depends on the mission. For example, small rovers I'd send to Duna would come packaged with a relay satellite in a single launch and delivery. However, with my landship or large Baserunner-inspired rovers I would do at least two launches because I don't want to risk the crew launching (and sometimes landing) such an awkward payload. With the landship specifically, the crew were sent in a reusable interplanetary shuttle. I also intend to have some kind of ISRU set up somewhere on or around whatever planets I plan on putting things, even if its somewhere like Dres that'll probably be entirely populated by robots.
  5. @Jatwaa did a plane at least once. Anyway the reason I'm over here. Will the bullets hit fairings?
  6. Snapdock is one such MM config, in case you don't want to write one yourself.
  7. There is, although It's clearly the kind of thing that would be appreciated in stock.
  8. I've never really liked the sun being so much larger than everything else in the relative scale of the game, so I'm curious why you'd want the sun bigger.
  9. And here I was thinking they were rapiers this whole time.
  10. You seem to be misunderstanding. Yes, Hyperedit (and the Alt+F12 Set Orbit tool for that matter) have no hard limit for how far a craft can be placed, but the game itself does. As Snark said: Since there is a finite limit to what the game can handle, there is a finite limit to what the orbital period can be. Unless Hyperedit entirely prevents such errors, then it too has a limit. A limit of what the game can handle.
  11. Then there's thinking the game crashed when everything stops.
  12. That would be CKAN. And although Curse is the official mod repository, there is the community run website Spacedock which has quite the number of mods itself.
  13. You mean the Persistent rotation mod?
  14. Dude this is at least the second topic you've responded to that's over a year old.
  15. Got a probe to Minmus. Mostly forgot to take pictures. Did however manage to catch a picture of my discovery that a botched relay that found itself beyond Kerbin's SOI ended up giving me control for the last few moments of the Minmus probe's life. It's power died transmitting science and it smashed into Minmus. Its the Foreign Eagle skybox.
  16. Started a new career with Engineering Tech Tree. Made it to orbit.
  17. Best I could suggest out of what's already out there is Buffalo Rovers. It has these great big solar flatbeds that are relatively thin. If you shrunk them down I imagine they could fit on a wing pretty well. Might have to write you're own config to make them tweakscale-able, but that isn't too hard.
  18. According to google that's 44,369,444 times the speed of light. That's moving more than a lightyear every second. The heat death of the universe might come first.
  19. I actually have taken a sub down there. https://imgur.com/a/zlIEf Dunno if the utter lack of visible terrain down there has been fixed since I tried it. However, I didn't thoroughly explore it, as it was hardly visible from the map view, and the aforementioned invisible terrain.
  20. Well, as far as I know, it won't decay things "on rails" that pass through atmosphere. That's about the only stock scenario I'd actually want orbital decay. Otherwise its something I'd rather my computer not compute.
  21. I recently adopted acronyms and random numbers, but only for the first of a series, later models just get ever increasing numbers. I also have made up company abbreviations prefixing them. So my current craft under this naming scheme are MI-BAR300 (Mycelium Industrial Big A55 Rover 300), AM-B21 (Arahas* Manufacturing Buggy 21), and my landships AM-44 (Arahas Manufacturing Model 44) and AM-45CX (Arahas Manufacturing Model 45 Cargo Experimental). *Sahara backwards. Its what I decided named the desert and also where that particular company is based.
  22. Well in the OP you asked if such a simulation is still possible, and it is. You might find someone who has the program used in the video somewhere on their PC, but I wouldn't hold my breath hoping for someone to just hammer out a new program for you.
  23. Patience man. Its only been an hour. At any rate, this mod exists, which simulates n-body gravitation.
  24. I would be much less bothered by the 1.0 trailer if it didn't have the parachute failure. That's where it really crossed the line for me.
