  2. Aw I'm glad you like my suggestions! I really hope this comes out before the start of 2016. By the way, the centrifuge could be like Porkjet's centrifuge except far more massive, as it is 3.75m. As for the MPD engine, it could be powered by LF only. In the case of the gigantic cupola cockpit, you could rework it into a flat cockpit with four windows and a 1.25m attachment node on the front and an airlock on one side, and built-in RCS thrusters
  3. I'm SUPER DUPER PUMPED for this Btw here are my suggestions for the internals for the crew tank, and some parts: it could be like a bar lounge mixed with a hotel room and a double-decker plane. Now for the part suggestions: An inflatable centrifuge that starts out compact and expands to 10m in diameter Xenon-powered 3m magnetoplasmadynamic engine Gigantic cupola cockpit (has toggleable lights)
  4. @Cupcake... Hey can you make a heavy atmospheric VTOL that uses Goliath turbofan engines with rocket assist engines and uses Mk3 tanks??
  5. @RaendyLeBeau The centrifuge habitat looks amazing, thank you so much for taking my suggestions, and really good job on the centrifuge. But IMO, it could have a counter rotating flywheel to look more accurate, as the whole ship would rotate without a flywheel. By the way, can the centrifuge have duct tape applied on one spot for more Kerbalness? As for the Voyager class cockpit, heres me suggestions for the IVA: It'd be like a bar lounge mixed with a double-decker aircraft, the bottom having like a little pantry and a fold-out bed, and the upper deck would have like some controls, the main command seat at the very front. Now if you excuse me, here are some moar suggests, these are dedicated mostly to deep-space exploration: Circular solar array (looks like the Orion's old service module's solar arays when unfurled) 2.5m ion engine (drains lots of power yet ridiculously efficient even at low thrust) 1.25m and 2.5m nuclear reactors (when active produce over 350 electric charge per second) 2.5m nuclear engine with built-in monopropellant tanks on the side

  7. @Cupcake... Decided on a name for the LV-N deep-space dropship? Any ideas for the video? SUGGESTION FOR VIDEO OF LV-N DROPSHIP: In orbit around the Mun, the deep-space dropship docks at at a fueling station, and sets off on a long voyage to a small Kerbal-made outpost on Eeloo, and it drifts past Jool as it heads towards Eeloo. Landing at the outpost on Eeloo, the pilot, goes out and maintains the base for a few minutes and then departs the distant planet, flying back to Kerbin and docking to an orbital station.

  10. Thank you so much for taking my idea Cupcake! So Cupcake, any screenshots of the final design? Any new names yet? Video idea/name??? Remember, its supposed to have solar panels distributed throughout the spacecraft and at least two internal RTGs and an internal radiator panel, and landing gear in those fuel tank things on the side. Also a parachute for return to Kerbin and recovery. But still, it cannot land on atmospheric worlds. Take your time, okay mate?
  11. That's okay, just go with the first one, it looks cooler and cuter, and a LOT more nimble. But like I said, add an internal RTG and solar panels as it should STILL be able to go to Eeloo, and here is a cuter name for it - and the same badass title! "Pug - Deep-Space Dropship"
  12. Looks awesome man. I say go with the second model since it looks a lot more cooler and I thinks with all that fuel it could go all the way to Eeloo. But I think you could make those external fuel tanks attached to flat radiators instead of NCS adapters, and maybe add some landing gear hidden inside the external fuel tanks, two internal RTGs and some OX-STAT solar panels distributed throughout the spacecraft for additional power, since it MUST be able go to destinations beyond Dres/Jool and and heres a cool name I thought you could use for it (you can change the name to something cooler if you want): "Indominus - Deep-Space Dropship"
  13. @SuicidalInsanity More suggestions; Mk3 magnetoplasmadynamic engine (uses only LF and is ridiculously efficient) Mk3 deployable solar array (when unfurled it's gigantic) Mk3 fighter cockpit (just for the looks and also for aerodynamics) Mk3 heavy habitat module (carries a crew of ten) Mk3 flat cockpit (houses 2 kerbals has an attachment node at the front and has four windows) Mk3 shielded docking port (when closed functions efficiently as a hypersonic nosecone)

Daf[/QUOTE] I was talking about the propulsion stage, not the Cypher itself! :huh: I specifically suggested a NERVA-powered long-range VTOL dropship that works only in deep space and non-atmospheric worlds and is able to return to Kerbin with little more than parachutes ;)

BUT, can it has solar panels??? But as for the deep-space SSTO, can you make it so that it's strictly operational in deep space and on non-atmospheric planets and be able to return to Kerbin with two parachutes? :)

  21. Hiya Cupcake, have you considered making a new version of the Sovereign SSTO? Here is a suggestion for a dropship; why not make a NERVA-powered deep-space SSTO that can transport a crew of five all the way to Jool/Laythe/Vall/Tylo/Bop/Pol AND Eeloo?
