  1. A Laythe like world with oxygen but it's weird colored?
  2. This looks really cool, I'll be sure to watch its development with great interest.
  3. I have a reusable rocket that can get 144 tons to LKO, I'll see what it can do for Mun orbit payload. Is winning based off how creative the payload or how large the payload?
  4. It worked, so marking as best answer. Thanks!
  5. I hope this is the right forum, sorry if it's not. Long story short, I was silly and didn't use transfer windows and now my mission has an elapsed time of 31,800 years. The save is running really slow because of it and I need to reset time. I've figured out how to fix the universal time, but not the mission flight time. To reset a mission counter, to say... 12 seconds, would I just change the highlighted values to 12, setting everything in game back to the time T+ 12 seconds?
  6. Congratulations @Xurkitree on completing the Jool 5 Challenge on the 2nd Level! This is one of the best videos I've seen submitted for a Jool 5 Challenge. Also, the way the video and the music went together was outstanding. Amazing job!
  7. Congratulations @Pro100kerbonaut on completing the Jool 5 challenge on level 1! The thing about your submission that surprised be the most was the craft being able to handle going directly from Vall to Tylo. Amazing job!
  8. Amazing job! Adding you to the Jool 5 leaderboard now!
  9. Congratulations @EvermoreAlpaca on completing the Jool 5 challenge with a low mass level one submission! Weighing in at only 6.2 tons, this is the lowest mass submission in any recent version and the third lightest ever across all three iterations of the Jool 5 challenge (the other two occurring in versions 0.23.5 and .24.2) ! I sincerely doubt that there will be a lighter submission completed after this one! With the game's current aerodynamic model this is truly one of the most optimized Jool 5 missions ever done, congratulations!
  10. Oh, yeah sure that sounds cool. Go ahead, although I'm not sure you'll need to credit this challenge unless it inspired you. Good luck!
  11. Adding you to the leaderboard now. This is without a doubt the most science I've ever seen recovered on a single mission.
  12. 1. Yes 2. That works. 3. Of course Mk.4 Spaceplane doesn't appear to be OP, so have fun, and good luck!
  13. Congratulations on completing the Jool 5 challenge on Jeb's level! Using the laythe plane as the final Tylo stage is one of the more Kerbal things I've seen done for this challenge! Although is there any chance you could give a more in depth review of your science points? You should be able to see it all from the RnD center at the KSC. The only reason I ask is that you've nearly doubled the two highest science scores in all of the Jool 5 and I'm just curious where you squeezed out the extra science.
  14. Congratulations on a level 3 submission! Your launches had the most interesting fairings I've ever seen, and your transfer stage was impressive. One final comment, it has been a while since I've seen such a diverse and robust assortment of landers. Adding you to the leaderboard now...
  15. @Grogs Mission looks great! Would you happen to have any more pictures of any maneuvers or trajectories or any of the landings?
  16. Congratulations on completing the Jool 5 Challenge on level 1! I haven't seen many missions this tight on margins, and this one shows it. The fact that it could single stage from Tylo to a different moon to refuel is beyond impressive. Adding you to the leaderboard now.
  17. The Plod System [1.7.3] I would highly recommend this review of the mod by KottabosGames. If you're reading this KottabosGames thanks again! What does this mod add? The Plod System adds a binary Sedna analogue dwarf planet to the far solar system. Plod: An icy, green dwarf planet with massive craters and looming mountains. Its orbit is giant and elliptical. Many blame Jool... or could it have been another hidden planet? Oob: Plod's binary companion, orbiting so close to Plod that orbiting in low-Plod-orbit is a necessity. Giant ice spikes jut into the world's horizon, segmenting the world's smoother, purpler terrain. Ninkle: A dark bluish-purple world that orbits Plod with minimal gravity. Its lowlands contrast nicely with exposed green under-ice, hinting at its past and formation. Tebos: A smooth, small world with a bright lump on one side. It is navy blue in appearance, with exposed yellow-brown under-ice and a tall, white mound on the side of the world, which the moon's tiny gravity could not conform. Lia: The oddball. This moon is though to have had severe out gassing and plumage in its early years. The surface is pink, and covered almost everywhere with sharp, spikey terrain. Fear not however, the moon's minuscule gravity makes the spikes much less dangerous than they could have been. Pictures (more to come shortly) Download Dependencies: Kopernicus Time warp mod (technically not required but Plod is like very VERY far away so it may be worth getting one to save time.) https://spacedock.info/mod/2033/The Plod System All rights reserved
  18. You can choose either, just be sure to state where it is when you submit
  19. Noted. I plan on making more near-Moho worlds in the future and will probably make them sup-evian so they don't have that SOI issue. I kept them spaced apart trying to avoid a Tylo-Vall-Laythe situation where in real life Vall would have been ejected. I'm thinking of making a vulcanoid / hot Laythe expansion next, and I'll be sure to keep any moons close by the planet. Thanks for saying the planets aren't bad designs. I would be lying if I said the Plod planet pack (my other pack) wasn't somewhat inspired by Planet End.
  20. Whoops my bad, thanks for bringing that to my attention. I will fix the spacedock license as soon as I can lol
  21. Moho Moons Mod (1.7.3) Hello all, tired of spending all that fuel just to get to Moho with only a Mohole to explore? Well, do I have something for you. Introducing the Moho Moons mod! What Does this Mod Add? The Moho Moons Mod adds four moons and a submoon to the game's brown furnace. Moho: Same as usual, but with a larger SOI to accommodate the far out moons. Rotisserie: This moon is decently sized relative to Moho and grey in appearance, but boasts several impressive red craters. Honeybaked: This moon is a nice yellowish color and is a great contrast to the scorched brown of Moho. (Get them screenshots!) Doroho: This moon is puzzling, and purple. It is thought to be a captured asteroid made from the same material as Eve. Antiopho: Nicknamed 'Sauna' this moon boasts giant lava oceans and an atmosphere 6% that of Kerbins. Despite the low pressure, flight can still be obtained there by ion gliders. Sohota: Antiopho's moon, Moho's submoon. This world is similar in shape to Doroho, only it is yellow like Honeybaked and has striped red like the moon it orbits. Landing will be easy, but finding a flat place won't. 22. I think a smooth video would be dependent on how well your computer is handling everything. You might be demanding too much from it. Are you on a desktop or a laptop or what?
