  1. Thanks, I was really surprised when that happened. Another thing, why are the parts at a point in the tech tree where I have to do 3 Mun missions before I get the actual Sarnus-V first stage? (i still don't have the S-IVB guidance system!) I had to do 3 Kerbin Orbit Rendevous missions with the Sarnus-I before I got enough science. I now know why they went with the Lunar Orbit Rendevous system in the real world!
  2. ummm... is it normal to put a Sarnus-V with munar package in orbit with a half full second stage and full third stage?
  3. already have it. read the entire conversation before you suggest fixes, that way you won't suggest things that have already been tried.
  4. i'll post a video of a Sarnus-IB flight with aero and debug as soon as i get home. i'm flying an exact replica based on the manual
  5. I've noticed a little problem with the Kane LES. It flexes and wobbles like hell during the gravity turn, and tends to destabilize the rocket. Every time I put the LES on the rocket, I've had to use it, but when I leave it off, the rocket flies fine. I'm pretty sure the LES for the real Apollo LES didn't destabilize the entire rocket
  6. thanks! now to figure out how to fly anything on chrome remote desktop! seriously tho, i need help with this!
  7. well, i actually realized that the fairing trusses will probably work. also, i was wondering what the payload rating was on the Prometheus-III, i don't know if it has the delta v to launch the station halves
  8. just updated my other post to reflect my stupidity another thing: what's the Prometheus-III rated for in terms of payload to LKO?
  9. small problem: there is no interstage node sorry, i didn't get what you meant there lol. me and my stupid brain
  10. how exactly would one mount it on a rocket? the attach node is way up inside the engine fairing, and i would hate to see the entire thing explode because of 1 part
  11. just tried it, it doesn't work. also if you look closely there is definitely something more substantial under those monopropellant tanks
  12. is there a download link for the station in the op? i like the aesthetic and really want to fly it myself
  13. Ok, so I've been hearing rumors of a sequel by @JakeGrey, and I would like to know where I can find it.
  14. @KSK when you update the library, can you please post my offer in the thread? i'm currently waiting around doing nothing, and i would like to help some more people with getting their stories compiled into downloadable files.
  15. Of course, @Kuzzter, I did not intend to even start unless you wanted me to! And in case you change your mind, the offer will remain open indefinitely. It is also extended to all writers on this forum, so if anyone wants me to compile their story, just let me know.
  16. EDIT: @KSK made a much better point than I did EDIT 2: I thought this was @DarkOwl57's thread
  17. bad idea, most people use MS word and won't be able to open it (i know from experience)
  18. Well, @Just Jim's Emiko Station would probably work good in Microsoft Word, but @Kuzzter's Kerbfleet stories would probably go better on another platform (still working on that). Fortunately, I could easily host both of them. Off the top of my head, they would probably be nearly 5GB a piece, but I can definitely host that, as I have 1TB of cloud storage just sitting around. I may even try to compile them if @Just Jim and @Kuzzter want me to. It would probably take a while, but no worries. First Flight took nearly 2 weeks to get all the formatting kinks worked out, and i'm still not done with the spellchecks(no offense to @KSK, they are bound to pop up in a quarter-million-word novel), so Emiko will probably take a month, and the Kerbfleet stories would probably take 6 weeks each, but I think I can manage, if I do them one at a time. If anyone wants me to compile a story, just let me know, and send me a link, and I'll put you on the list (once I have a list lol)
  19. New file download is up. Ok, this was waaaaay faster than I expected, as setting up a direct file download on OneDrive was a lot simpler than expected. I am moving from Dropbox to direct download from OneDrive because my Dropbox subscription has expired. So, here is the download link. Disclaimer: it is very large for a word document First Flight.docx CAUTION!!! File size is 841KB give me rep plz
