1. Fortunately, I live in a country that didn't sign the Geneva Convention. *shoots the medic* Now heal thyself physician. My Militant Country's Hill
2. No... I don't understand the colloquialisms. Press the button to understand every language on Earth, but be unable to understand the "slang/idioms/colloquialisms" we all take for granted.
3. 4-10i (-i) In theory, yeah; but it is RainDreamer's game and whether they stay or go is up to her.
4. No no, that's a Venus and Jupiter thread. This is a Jupiter and Venus thread, totally different. Zeus + Aphrodite not Aphrodite + Zeus
5. No, I'd prefer to keep off the FBI's lists thank you very much Press the button to become a KSP Moderator, but lose forum posting privledges
6. Granted... it is now legal to deport people who do something specific to Antarctica where they can keep their body warmth by inhaling fumes. I wish I was the supreme ruler of Earth, and ruled over all in my impregnable floating city.
7. Oh, memories. QuickBasic is fun but so old, I doubt I have any of what I did in the past around anymore Honestly, the language is really needed as a good "How to really program" despite the spaghetti programming that it often creates. There's much more to be said when you write your own simple 2D engine and learn all the problems that it creates, how to fix them, how to improve framerate... than when you just download a library and plug+chug until something works. (Then again, I didn't really do anything WITH what I made, I was often more interested in the backend than the actual games.)

Meh, Blair Witch is rather lame (though honestly, I haven't seen either, the style being referenced seems identical) and I don't think anyone can really break the wall that this is a movie, not a documentary. The difference is that although the internet claims people actually thought Blair Witch was real because there wasn't a "internet" to help them distinguish reality from fantasy; the time for such a film has long past. Of course, the entertainment media (a.k.a. the News) is very corrupt these days. I think it would be conceivable that someone could "gift" them a large sum of money to put some credibility behind one of those films. That, and selective soundbites can easily get a nation of fools questioning what reality is.
9. I start wondering what this fuel valve FireFaced closed did.... but then the marble containing the universe develops a slight fracture and Xannari Ferrows appears next to me. "I warned you!" I exclaim as the rest of the universe began leaking out of the path Xannari Ferrows made, "I told you to think 11th dimensionally." The containment field failing, the marble explodes and we get thrown outside of the outside of the universe. Great job, now no one has a hill. Interestingly enough, http://www.google.com/search?q=isotunneling&nfpr=1&spell
10. Granted. Nothing changes. You only wished that you COULD live in Iceland, but since you already have the CAPACITY to live in Iceland your wish is for something that you already have. I wish everyone would include Google, Apple, Facebook, Twitter, and all the other big spying organizations in their "spying organizations" list.
11. Honestly, I was just being silly... But I figured it'd create a really insane situation at 80-80i, either side could win with enough push, but since you can only do one operation (either -1,+1,or -i,+i) the stakes go up really really fast. *Actually expected RainDreamer to revert it, or anyone else for that matter. So 2-8i (-i) Let's have a bit of fun then XD
12. Granted... but your flaming conservative notions of preventing unlawful protests has resulted in anonymous DDOSing the forums... this time they also attack the mainpage's server as well as the home computer of Felipe Falanghe (HarvesteR). All copies and records of KSP get destroyed in the process. I wish I wasn't ultra-bored and didn't regress to a deeper state of boredom.
13. Granted. You and only you, will die in 3216 weeks. You will be hit by the love of your life and die of heart breakage. Your life will be spared if you do not visit the moon on January 4th. I wish I wasn't bored.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1772240/trivia?tab=gf&ref_=tt_trv_gf How much of that was written by KSP fans, I do wonder.
15. You just destroyed the world's supply of helium, you can have a pencil only when you recover it all. I wish people wouldn't act like hydrogen gas is dangerous, sure it is flammable but it's just a cool burst of flame; quite frankly the kids would probably enjoy popping hydrogen balloons. It's fun! Hindenburg was totally a U.S. inside job, given we control the largest helium supply and wanted to get people stuck on helium instead of the far more buoyant hydrogen. Join the Hydrogen protest movement!
16. Granted, everyone dies today... or rather did die 30 seconds ago. Being a genie I brought them back to life. I wish magic was real I wish I could put the world's supply of helium in one giant balloon and ride it out to space.
17. 0-2i Probably not a good idea, but it's funny
18. Well, http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=FPGA+Neural+Network I'd guess we use something similar, but software isn't strictly CPU limited, but also high-level programming limited. It really is amazing when you can look at the assembly and realize all the "good" programming practices people are taught to use are actually slowing the software to a halt (We trust the compiler to undo the bad-code we write that makes it easier for humans to read.) Coding in low level C or assembly, can easily net some major speed increases (especially if you don't "recreate" C++) and allow optimizations to keep consistent use of SSE which allows for massively parallel processing if done right. In reality though, the x86 and the x86-64 is a pretty horrible CPU design, not really designed for data processing or half of what we really want it to do. GPUs are a much better candidate, but yeah, FPGA is awesome. "Artificial Neural Network" is just political correctness, someone wanted to distinguish humans from things created by humans; except that's really just to say "Humans have souls and go to heaven, robots don't." That's all that was about. - - - Updated - - - And that is why I thought it was much more interesting to think about perception. Sure, the google car can run around and not crash... but if you try to confuse the AI by introducing something it never saw before its reaction is entirely unpredictable. With this, we're not only learning how to introduce it to a machine, but the aspects that introducing it creates. It pushes us closer to having a neural net that creates entirely new, yet valid, responses on its own without needing someone sitting there and correcting it.
19. Okay, you won... -i I'm starting my own team, the imaginary team
20. I think you're talking about the misconception of temperature, A.K.A. "Space is cold." As matter is brought closer together, the ability to transfer energy between individual units of matter also increases, due to kinetic collision theory, which describes temperature as a function of molecular collisions, this makes sense. Quantum adds in all sorts of nasties and can even allow energy to transfer across vacuum. In either case, the reaction rate of the blue dwarf would be much faster due to the increase in the number of molecular collisions occurring which hence creates more energy and hence leads to higher temperatures. Also, you're thinking too 3 dimensionally, you need to be thinking 11 dimensionally to exit the universe!
21. Isn't it the exact opposite? Compressing a gas increases the energy required to achieve a particular temperature and hence decreases temperature... remember it is PV=T (nR are constant), you increase the pressure but decrease the volume, and this is a highly "Newtonian" (a.k.a. inaccurate) formula that doesn't include the effects noted by phase diagrams. Second, since I have encapsulated the whole universe, I also am storing all the energy in said universe, since my marble is capable of withstanding 1 universe of energy and no energy can be created or destroyed, all you did was destroy your own hill. MY Hill! (Okay, PV = nRT P = sum(|N|) / SA V = 4/3 * pi * r^3 SA = 4 * pi * r^2 r * sum(|N|) / 3 = nRT Mass = n * MolarMass sum(|N|) = n*MolarMass*sum(|a|) r * MolarMass * sum(|a|) / 3 = RT C * r * sum(|a|) = T Technically, the Average Kinetic Energy and sum(|N|) should be inter-related; but a decrease in r results in a decrease in T)
