  1. To me it feels just a little bit too "thick", what does it look like if you turn down the intensity of the fog a little bit?
  2. Is there an adapter from the B9 Mk2 to the stock Mk2 form factor? They're slightly different sizes. I usually delete parts that are near-duplicates of stock parts for memory and organization reasons- but because the B9 Mk2 is slightly taller than the stock Mk2, I can't use the B9 cockpits that I really like without it looking kinda crappy.
  3. I had this problem too. You have to go into the KSP settings file and disable EVA_ROTATE_ON_MOVE, and see the top of this very page for other tips if that doesn't work.
  4. update: I tried changing the EVA rotate on move option, since someone else said that might be the problem, and it still doesn't work. On the ground, I can move large girders around and attach them with no problems at all. In space, I can't do anything- the "grab" hand is greyed out and doesn't do anything. Anybody else had this issue?
  5. Can I move parts that are too big for the inventory? For example, can I have a free-floating girder in a cargo bay that I grab and carry over to attach to my space station? I'm trying it and it doesn't seem to work, but I might be missing something. Edit: It works on the ground, but not in space?
  6. By the way, the "CRT-lines" that were reported aren't exclusive to Linux- I get it on Windows 8.1 Pro (64bit) too, running 32bit KSP. They're quite laggy as well.
  7. From the last page, but worth noting: airglow (the greenish or yellowish glow at the edge of the atmosphere) is indeed visible from space according to reports from astronauts. In extremely dark skies it's even visible from the surface with the naked eye. Honestly I think it would be awesome to have airglow visible around Earth in KSP, even if its faint- it helps you figure out where the horizon is.
  8. What's the g-force tolerance on parts such as the OKTO-2? My SRBs are exploding my parts... granted, said SRBs have a TWR of like 300, but I'm curious how high I can go without blowing up my craft.
  9. Is there any older release I could download? I just installed RSS and I can't stand the look of a bare planet with no clouds- I can accept bugs if it means I get at least something to cover up the frankly ugly as hell stock atmosphere.
  10. Is anyone else having issues with the Aggressive x64 version messing up the Kerbal Engineer windows and HUD? It started after moving to the Aggressive version, but I tried making a config to disable it for the Engineer folder and I'm still having the problem. It's like the windows are too small for the text or something.
  11. If you removed the smoke and replaced it with just a uniform glow-looking particle or something, you could make long ionization trails behind reentering spacecraft- something I've always wanted to see in KSP. If you've ever seen videos of the Shuttle reentering, it leaves a huge streak of ionized air across the entire sky.
  12. Oh, yes! I've always thought it was weird how small the explosions are. If you watch Youtube videos of real rocket failures (Proton in 2013, Antares a couple months ago for example)- they're gigantic fireballs of doom, not the kinda wimpy poofs we have now. Definitely installing this.
  13. I'm having the same problem, so it's not just you. Probably got something to do with the new update and the new biomes, I'd imagine.
  14. I had to resize every single cloud texture by half so that ATM would actually load it and not crash. I'll take a hit in beauty if it means I can actually play the game.
  15. Beautiful, been waiting for this for a long, long time. Glad to see it finally released!
  16. I seem to be having an issue with some of the parts- the optical telescope, the solar collector, the imaging platform, and the X-Ray experiment don't appear in my tech tree or parts list (but they appear in sandbox mode). All the other parts appear and function just fine. If it helps, I did install this mod in the midst of a career game I already started, but I've been able to use the other parts with no problems. I've reinstalled DMagic, CTT, and TechManager multiple times and it doesn't seem to have fixed the issue. Any help?
  17. Are the auroras at a higher altitude than the clouds? I've been using one of your Interstellar test releases and the auroras seem way too low (i.e. in the atmosphere at like 40km). Then again they're also really flickery so that might be a configuration issue I wasn't aware of.
  18. Honestly, I always thought that Through the Eyes of a Kerbal did it best, because it still had the same shortcut for IVA as flying a ship does (the default C button). Even better, it didn't require HullCamera. If you can emulate that capability, then I'll gladly switch over.
  19. You could definitely do Mach 15 using RSS (orbital velocity is around Mach 25 in real life) but it would be probably greater than escape velocity in stock KSP.
  20. I wish the FLAT had an IVA and that the PA550 had a 2.5m node instead of 1.25m. Other than that, I love this pack because I'm a sucker for anything with well-designed IVAs. I'd love to see more development.
  21. My biggest problem with this skybox (and the default one, at that) is that the Milky Way isn't inclined to the ecliptic like the real one is. It's still amazing though and I love being able to see my favorite constellations/stars/nebulae/M31 while flying.
  22. Definitely needs an accretion disk. Also, does the radius correspond to the actual Schwarzchild radius of an object with Jool's mass?
