  1. I'm upgrading my pc, just purchased all the parts today. Will be a week or so before i get it all. I did not upgrade though for this game, main reason is i want to start streaming and my current computer just can't handle it at a decent resolution! new comp will be an windows 8 I7-4770 16 gigs 1600 ddr3 ram 256ssd + 2TB HD 2gb ddr5 nvidia GTX 670 (i don't play high graphically intensive games so good enough for me) Can't wait for the new system been about 5 years since i last upgraded!
  2. yes it is, if you downgrade to kethan 0.74 it will work. it's what i did until the compatibility issue was fixed and looks like it will be soon
  3. i too had this same issue, when installing last night. Even though the mod loads the game reverts back to the original textures. I did not try then but seeing here that the newest version of kethane causes this which i too have installed. I will try tonight when i get home to remove kethane and see if the mod loads correctly.
  4. i like this mod, but can't use it. Even the low res version lags the hell out of my computer not necessarily at launch but once it gets out of the amosphere for what ever reason. This is true on a fresh install or modded install of KSP. I never have problems with lag unless i use this mod! I do like the look of it and think they are nice models of the spacex though. good job!
  5. RT2 uses the modulemanager to modify the stock parts, if you look into the rt2 gamedata folder there is a .cfg file in there for stock parts, also one in there for AEIS parts. without the modulemanager.dll those 2 files will not modify the parts they intend too!
  6. if you feel said dev is not creating/updating a mod fast enough why don't you try your hand at it and see for yourself how time consuming it is! these mods are done for free on someones free time who has another life to tend to outside the kerbal world. above poster has it correct, some of you have an overgrown sense of entitlement but i guess that is the age we currently live in to the detriment of the rest of us!
  7. I don't believe they have any effect yet!
  8. why don't you simply be patient, this is a mod, KSP 0.21 was just released and just so happens broke the mod. Mod needs to be update so give time for the author to do so. Jeez
  9. most of the people here will say build your own, that is why you don't find to many as most simply build there own. Half the fun in ksp is designing the different types of vehicles!
  10. i believe it was the dev harvester who was reworking the way missions are ended, if my memory serves correctly instead of "end mission" there will not be any option but to go back to the space center and you have to end or recover missions through the space tracking center instead.
  11. on the bright side, i believe patch 0.21 is supposed to do away with the current end mission setup anyways
  12. unless he is part of the experimental team
  13. hope you are right as i can't wait, been holding off doing anything with KSP until it is out. We can only wait and see!
  14. i really doubt it at this time, according to the KSP weekly they are still fixing bugs the experimental team found then i'm sure the new build will hit them again before release and not only that harvester is attempting to write a upgrade algorithym to possible save some game saves from being wiped and stated it was still being tested. I have a feeling it's going to atleast be another week now unfortunately. I guess i will play through the Walking Dead game series while waiting
  15. i love the new mechjeb personally, i use it for roleplaying purposes. Until Squad introduces their Autopilot system that uses kerbal skills to do crew tasks than at this time mechjeb is the only way to simulate that.
  16. i thought the rough estimate was "when it is ready!"?
  17. Tomorrow has yet to become present so i have no idea yet, ask again tomorrow!
  18. yes, those in this thread like me were all about providing the option to use or not use, most of the ones arguing to limit mods were about forcing it on everyone rather than giving a choice.
  19. This discussion will never go anywhere, the same crap that has been already answered or the answers never passed the poop test just keeps getting rehashed over and over again. I'm done with it personally as the one with the final say how everything is going to work in career mode is SQUAD themselves, and going by their track record thus far they will not limit mods in career mode as there is no reason to when you can limit the use of them yourself by simply not using one!
  20. really hasn't been flaming going on, but rather a discussion using non conventional tactics, but now we are getting off topic!
  21. boredom? not getting anywhere else with getting the point across of why your suggestions doesn't make sense when you put 2 and 2 together. Maybe i find it fun? Maybe that is my "suggestion" of how this convo should work, if witty comments weren't made it would be too easy and we wouldn't want it that way, figuring one's post out should be hard! or i'm just trying to simply prove a point in some weird illogical way that only makes sense to myself?! sometimes the best offence is to change tactics
  22. *lol* honestly i don't know, i was just being a smart ass! (got a bit of a buzz going now) suggestions/discussions same thing as far as i'm concerned
  23. This possibly isn't the place for suggestions, this thread and sub forum is for discussions. Actual suggestions are supposed to go here KSP Development forum
