  1. It was from KSPTV Twitter....... Considering they have been streaming for a while I think its fine....
  2. Ya, started getting a nerd boner... EJ SA has a save he wants to move over to 1.1 with 3 ships and a base all landed with a part count over 1500. If the universe does not implode 1.1 will be epic
  3. edit... not liking the new forum layout..... I want my preview button back
  4. Double check and make sure you have it installed correctly, I had no issues using the Rovemate or adding a cfg for some of the smaller probe cores.
  5. Very nice mod May want to consider adding hard caps, the Karibou parts are letting me run 400m/s on Mun and Kerbin.
  6. Tourists actually pay pretty well. I use a 12 kerbal ship, fill it half with tourists and pick up a few stranded kerbals. Im up to 11M and I have about 60days before the first transfer window to Duna
  7. Damn you Roverdude I was trying to avoid KSP until 1.1 comes out..... Will it work on EVE?
  8. My only grip with SSTO's is the extra time needed to land the craft back on Kerbin.....
  9. I guess my biggest fail would be quitting every day to go to work.......
  10. Last time I looked, Kerbal Foundries wheels still worked, they may fit the bill.
  11. Slapped togeather a 5 minute VTOL and added Throttle Controlled Avionics. Duna hear I come Mechjeb fights it a little but its better then plowing into the Duna sand like I was doing yesterday....
  12. It makes life easier in some instances, kinda like the USI Life Support vs TAC. To each his own;) I can see using this vs normal MKS, and I can see using normal MKS vs this. Its all in the amount of work that is involved or free time that can be invested.
  13. Considering the power of the Firespitter electric engines you probably could have gone smaller lol
  14. Cruised around Duna on my test craft, finding flat areas to land on is a PITA.... VTOL is looking so good right now lol.
  15. Take a look at Near Future solar panels, he has some curved panels that would help with part count and he has some flat truss panels also;) Hmmm KSP or work on my Electric Gocart...... Choices..
  16. Ya I was looking at it and thinking some Takeoff/landing assistance engines would probably be helpful. Im sure at higher altitudes it would be a pita to land lol. Damn you I may end up playing KSP since I took a break a few months ago lol.
  17. Despite being newer, the D-3 still take considerably longer than KSC3 to build new vessels. While KSC3 can turn a pile of dirt into a plane within a few hours, it will take the crew of the D-3 about a week to accomplish the same task. Building a multi-vessel base often takes upwards of a month on-site. With the new Constructor built and tested, we set about building a few new outposts. The first was a simple civilian base with a relay station attached, about 70km from Burgstein (another outpost). http://i.imgur.com/FZp5AHA.jpgAfter that, another outpost was built, again about 70km from the previous one. This outpost included a newly designed observation tower. Following in this vein, we are looking into other tall, asymmetric buildings in order to make everything look a little less boring. http://i.imgur.com/wlgywRe.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/tsQsSTf.jpg Finally, we turned northward and headed towards to polar ice caps, where we plan to build a massive research station. We're still going through logistics, but it will likely require the crew of the D-3 to build three(!) large tanks for Rocket Part storage at the site, before finally building the base itself. While the tower (above) looks tall, the main spire of the science base should be at least 2 - 3 times as tall. Also, while flying northwards, we realized several of the large wing-bound solar panels were broken. Apparently, they're not really designed to be walked on, or they crack like... like something that cracks far too easily. Another design feature to consider for future versions. http://i.imgur.com/hwx06Vc.jpgVery nice! How much does it weigh and what is your takeoff and landing runway size?
  18. Whats your max safe service ceiling in that?
  19. Yet, the engine used in the N1 is one of the best ever made and is still in use, including in the US.
  20. Mostly did that, problem I had last night is once I slowed down, the craft was unstable at high altitude and low speed. Not sure if I want to bother messing with it anymore or go do something else.
  21. Ill give it another try after work, its a 300+T brick so falling is easy, stopping not so much. May have to dump alot of fuel, since I can refuel on the ground or in the air . I actually built a few electic prop craft that could carry 30+T out of Eve atmo back in 0.24/0.9, sadly DRE like to burn off the control surfaces.
