Maybe the answer to this question might be obvious, but when playing RSS is it absolutely necessary to have RO? Or really anything else besides procedural parts and tweakscale? I know the stock delta v requirements are fairly wack. Yet, there are people who have done things like this without RO.

Downloaded from Steam, it's located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program I don't know how to post the log (KSP.log ?) and I will have to do it later because I have to go places. -
Nothing in GameData loads

When I erased my KSP folder to download the new update, I was expecting great things. But instead, all I've got is white flags and missing parts Why is this happening to me I've tried moving the game folder and I've made sure nothing is set to 'read-only' -
Yeah, no. It was just someone with his name but not his tripcode

There may be new planets and futuristic parts but I doubt they would be nice as system requirements are most likely not going to change. There might be better add-on support for more complex plugins and stuff but then there probably won't be any genuine mod makers left to make them. There could be more realistic aspects to the game but then we wouldn't get them as Squad would have to deduct realism for that specific age group who can't help but use the infiniglider exploit to get spaceplanes into orbit. So in my opinion I think the game is going to be far from complex. The least intuitive feature we'll get would be atmospheric reentry.

When did they say clouds were being put in? Even if it hasn't been confirmed, I'm almost positive clouds will be added to the game in this update as the 'secret feature' considering the other atmospheric changes they're adding The secret feature could also be something like Planetshine. Perhaps we might have light coming from planets which will illuminate spacecraft and maybe other planets, and hopefully the horizon won't be brighter than the sun. Just gotta wait until it's revealed Honestly I just hope it doesn't flop like the destructible buildings

I saw Aaron Paul at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?†I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?†but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?†and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.†At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,†and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Devnote Tuesdays: The Really Hot Edition
Ringotuna replied to SQUAD's topic in KSP1 The Daily Kerbal
Nearly everyone has been asking for it since the big Beyond Beta reveal, especially those from ‘place that can't be mentioned here’ who angrily demanded Max to put it in the game It is a nice feature and I'm glad Squad has decided to add it in the 1.0 update -

Squadcast Summary (24/01/2015) - The Valentina Edition
Ringotuna replied to BudgetHedgehog 's topic in KSP1 Discussion
If Squid is really going to go that extra mile with the barn, they should at least improve the other new tiers, too. They look just as horrible. Also, is this ISRU system going to be 'resource' or 'resources'? -
Devnote Tuesdays: The "Let's Do the Time Warp Again" Edition
Ringotuna replied to SQUAD's topic in KSP1 The Daily Kerbal
I like the dev notes, thanks guys. I've picked up on some things: I'm wondering what this experimental project may be and if it's something the other devs could be planning/working on for the next update. Now HarvesteR did say in his note: Perhaps he put that there to keep speculation to a minimum? In most previous dev notes, everyone's always 'working on something of their own'. Max also claims the devs are 'a little skinny on the notes this time around'. Is there something prompting them to say these things in this week's edition to keep something secret? Now I'm beginning to wonder... will the aerodynamic overhaul be the primary feature of this update or is there another large feature coming our way? -
has it something to do with the rotation of the planet?

Have you killed any of your level 5 kerbals yet?
Ringotuna replied to Tanner Rawlings's topic in KSP1 Discussion
i had a scientist (steve kerman) exploring duna getting as much science as possible i sent him to orbit to refuel his vessel. sent him back down and he became a delicious new fast food restaurant meal (burnt up because of deadly reentry) fortunately all the science data was moved to the refuel ship beforehand -
Kerbal Space Progam: Beta Than Ever Preview Videos Are Here!
Ringotuna replied to SQUAD's topic in KSP1 The Daily Kerbal
Fortunately the next few updates supposedly will add more improvements to performance and game play instead of more 'features' like new planets and parts as said in one of the preview videos. Can't remember which one it was. Though if this is true, the loading times with stock 0.90 should be the same as the loading times with the fully released version of KSP when it comes out. -
Kerbals age similarly to frogs, starting as water-dwelling tadpole-like creatures at birth then slowly growing into mostly intelligent, terrestrial bipedal creatures.
