  1. I've got 86 mods installed through CKAN, and a few more installed manually. Only about 45 of those have been updated to 1.1.3. You want the full list?
  2. Oh, lovely. :| Appreciated, although mind you I'm on KSP v1.1.2 since most of my mods haven't been updated to 1.1.3 yet.
  3. Is there a particular reason why the omnidirectional antenna range multiplier slider can only be set to "0" or "1", when the description (and the fact that it's a slider) implies that it can be set anywhere in between? I was hoping to be able to set it somewhere in the middle, so my typical 4x-Communotron-32 comsats would have some extra range but not 4x the range, but the slider jumps straight from one end to the other and can't be set anywhere in between.
  4. Having trouble. App runs (although it doesn't respect Windows 10's desktop DPI scaling setting, that's probably an issue with .jar apps in general rather than this in particular), scans KSP and processes parts correctly, but when I tell it to save the parts list, no file is created. Any ideas? [EDIT] Just noticed the error message mentioning the log file. Here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2gizzfp9cbdxn1p/MPPM.log?dl=0
  5. Is there a way to disable having text emoticons changed into graphical emoticons when typing a post? Most forum/message-board systems have this option somewhere, but I can't find it here.
  6. @nightingale Is the current version of this still compatible with KSP v1.1.2? 'Cause CKAN still has me on CC v1.12.1. [EDIT] Just noticed where you said 1.1.2 is no longer supported. My main save is on 1.1.2 because only like 1/4 of the mods I use have been updated to 1.1.3. Even if you're not officially supporting it any more, is there a chance that CC v1.19.0 might work with KSP 1.1.2? I'm getting the same bug with 1.12.1 as the poster at the top of this page, where the "accept" and "decline" buttons are missing from Mission Control; I have to exit the building and use the CC toolbar button to accept or decline contracts.
  7. @KSK@Plecy75 I have a bit of (secondhand) experience with converting fanfics to "dead tree format". The biggest thing to note is that unlicensed fanfics cannot legally be published. Publishing generally involves getting an ISBN code, marketing, and a whole bunch of other stuff. What can be done is what's called "vanity printing", where a printing/publishing house skips the ISBN and all that other stuff, and simply provides the service of printing and binding. This is fairly expensive for individual copies, which is why for the one I got, a couple of people took sign-ups from everyone who wanted a copy, got a bulk-order price quote from the printer, then collected the money from everyone and placed the order. The printer shipped the whole order to the guy who'd placed it (a few pallets worth of books; it was a long-ass fanfic that had been broken into five volumes for printing), who assembled the sets and sent them off to those who'd signed up.
  8. Holy crap, what a good story. I need more of this in my life. /subscribed
  9. All the KSP command pods that are based on real ones are smaller than their real-world counterparts, since Kerbals are smaller than humans. I'd rather have internal consistency than real-world accuracy.
  10. Personally, I rationalize Option 2 as "I'm playing the part of the computer, rather than some schmuck in Mission Control".
  11. Can't help you with that one; I went with Option 2. As far as I'm aware, it's all or nothing.
  12. Option 1: Use the flight computer to pre-program actions. Option 2: Turn off signal delay in the RT options (it's on another tab from the main options).
  13. If the current versions of the mods are confirmed to be compatible with 1.1.3, then the metadata on Curse or whatever needs to be updated to reflect that. Then they'll show up in CKAN as compatible with 1.1.3. It would be nice if CKAN had an "install anyway" option, but that's an issue for another topic.
  14. @Leszek You could always turn off signal delay and take manual control, at least for the time being.
  15. Well, I know that truckers sometimes use a dual co-phased antenna setup for their CBs to increase the transmission range in specific directions. Two identical antennas with identical connecting cables are mounted parallel to each other approximately 1/4 wavelength apart—about 9' for 27MHz CB radio, usually on either side of the cab, mounted vertically; the interaction between them reduces range to the sides, but increases range forward and aft. Some quick research shows that it can slightly negatively impact the rig's ability to receive, though. However, CB radios are entirely analog as far as the actual transmitted signals go. The addition of some digital signal processing can allow an array of multiple antennas (even that aren't set up in a co-phase configuration like above) to act as a single larger antenna. Take the VLA radio telescope facility in New Mexico for instance; those are dishes rather than omnis, but I'd think with the right processing programming a similar thing could be done with omnis.
  16. He specifically mentioned having no connection to the KSC, and was wondering why he didn't have local control even with Kerbals on board. It's because his Kerbals are in the lab, which is not a control pod.
  17. According to the wiki, the Mobile Processing Lab is not a command pod. You'll need to stick a Kerbal (preferably a pilot) in that Cupola module. http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Mobile_Processing_Lab_MPL-LG-2
  18. BR2 cannot be equal to or greater than BR1. Furthermore, I think the number of build slots you can have is dependent on the upgrade level of the building in question (VAB or SPH). Dunno how RP-0 affects that tho.
  19. Not bad. Gets the job done, and in a neater fashion and with less funds spent than mine.
  20. Assuming it's working correctly, next on the list is your comp's firewall. Make sure the DMP server itself is allowed through. The only other thing I can think of is to make sure the port people are trying to connect to is the one the server is actually using (if you changed it from DMP's default port, make sure your players didn't accidentally omit or mistype it).
  21. Most likely, you need to set up port forwarding on your router/gateway.
  22. That sounds like a bug. Building upgrades with KCT aren't supposed to update the building model and listed stats until the upgrade is complete. No clue what would cause that, tho.
  23. Oddly, installing this mod seems to have made my game much more laggy and crashy (in the VAB at least; haven't done anything else since installing it). :/
