  1. Goo Pumps & Oils' Speed Pump (GPO) Allows you to automatically transfer or balance fuel. By Lisias and zer0Kerbal, previously by @hab136, then previously by @Geordiepigeonowner, and originally by @Gaius Description Ever undock from your space station, only to realize you forgot to top off your fuel or RCS tanks? Want to have tanks that automatically pump fuel where it's needed, without having to bring up windows and manually move fuel around? Want to set up fuel balancing in the SPH or VAB as a "tweakable" and have it saved with your vessel? Simultaneously balance different groups of tanks on the same vessel independently of one-another? Just generally mess around with fuel routing, and have these settings persistent? Then Goo Pumps & Oils has the tool for you! The Goo Pumps & Oils' Speed Pump, once installed in your fuel tanks, allows you to set up a "pump level" for each tank, either as a "tweakable" while building your vehicle, or while in flight. You can set tanks to automatically pump fuel to lower level tanks whenever possible, or balance between tanks at the same level. Uses include refuelling tanks at space stations that automatically top off the tanks of any vessels as soon as they dock with the station, refuelling vessels with higher level pumps that automatically refuel the space station as soon as they dock, setting up fuel balancing while building a plane and having it saved with the plane and done completely automatically in flight, setting up more complicated fuel flow patterns for asparagus-like situations without fuel lines for fuel types that don't normally flow that way (e.g. monopropellant and xenon gas), and many other uses! Right-click a tank while in the assembly building, or while in flight. Set the pump level as desired, and turn on "Auto Pump" and/or "Balance". "Auto Pump" will automatically pump fuel from this tank to any lower level tanks (water flows downhill) when they have room. The "Balance" function will keep the percentage of fuel in this tank identical to any other tanks with the same pump level and "Balance" on. Note that this allows different sets of tanks to be balanced within their own set but independently of the other sets. Pictures, or it didn't happened! 2. The year is 9302. The Mun has been impacted by a huge asteroid and Kerbin is flooded. Begin on an evolved Kerbin. Its continents have moved, its mountains and topography vary drastically. Set many millenia after the Kerbals first took to space, the general culture of former 'Kerbin' has changed drastically. Because of this change, the planet is significantly different - it's known as Gaia and all interplanetary voyages are strictly forbidden by the global government - You must convince them to fly once more. The entire planetary system has overcome a drastic change. A near miss with another star has caused many planets and moons to be captured by Kerbol. Your adventure awaits; take to the stars once more and prove that the eagerly awaiting space-faring Kerbals still have a future. This mod adds more planets and moons to land on whilst keeping the stock feel to the game. I have revisited the entire Kerbin system and added a bit more variation to the different planets and moons, making you feel the joy of exploring them once again. DOWNLOAD FOR KSP 1.4.3 If you feel as if you enjoy the mod thoroughly, feel free, but not inclined to, leave a small donation in return. Thanks DISCORD: https://discord.gg/XmVp23s Installation Instructions: Gameslinx's Planet Overhaul is a planet mod for Kerbal Space Program. This mod is licenced under CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0. Proceed with the following install instructions: Download Kopernicus - https://github.com/Kopernicus/Kopernicus/releases/ Download CTTP - https://github.com/Galileo88/Community-Terrain-Texture-Pack/releases/ Download EVE - https://github.com/WazWaz/EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements/releases/ Download Scatterer - https://github.com/LGhassen/Scatterer/releases/ Download SigmaReplacements https://github.com/Sigma88/Sigma-Replacements/releases/ Download INSTANTIATOR - https://spacedock.info/mod/1624/INSTANTIATOR/ You MUST remove "ExampleConfig.cfg" from the Instantiator folder or it will not work Download GPO - https://github.com/Gameslinx/Gameslinx-Planet-Overhaul/releases Install ALL of those mods correctly - this should be as simple as dragging the correct folder to GameData unless stated otherwise. After that, launch the game in 64 bit. The above photograpah is not ingame imagery
  3. Some of you may have heard of the planet mod Gameslinx's Planet Overhaul by @Gameslinx. Personally, I never got to take a proper look at GPO's planets and moons, but it sounds pretty cool. Four new habitable worlds and a beautiful protostar? Count me in, that is if... it were to work properly. I have heard that GPO no longer works on the latest version of Kopernicus. I tried it out anyway on my copy of KSP 1.8.1, with Kopernicus and KittopiaTech 1.8.1-1 with Beyond Home installed. I modified Gaia's config to make sure that it wouldn't become the homeworld and I edited its moons' orbital properties to make sure that it orbits Gaia and not a renamed Kerbin with Gaia's properties. I also reparented Dread, Dres' GPO moon, around Olu'um on the opposite side of Telos' orbit. And it still didn't work. I then temporarily deleted my save and Beyond Home, and it failed to load when it was loading one of its Scatterer sunflares. Now I want to know; why does this wonderful mod no longer work with KSP 1.8.1 and Kopernicus 1.8.1-1? Did something change with Kopernicus in the versions after GPO's last update? Did something required in GPO's supported Kopernicus versions get removed in the newer versions? If anyone can tell me why Gameslinx's Planet Overhaul no longer works on KSP 1.8.1, please inform me. Any support is greatly appreciated.
  4. After some troubleshooting, we've managed to get the impressive planet pack by @Gameslinx up and running in 1.22 Linux x64. I'll be chronicling the adventures of Kerbalkind as they explore this new system. On first impressions, the graphics and the work that has gone into this are outstanding. The first orbital flight with the giant rings overhead and a sunflare are giving me back some of the wonder that made KSP grab me in the first place. Some images from the first two flights follow. A quick sounding rocket for science, then a very clumsy orbiter mainly powered by SRBs. Ended up in an elliptical orbit out of fuel, and Jeb had to get out and push to make it home.
  5. Here we are with Gamelinx's planet pack installed. This story will carry over from the Advancing Through Hardships, but this is significantly more orientated towards the actual missions. The beginning will seem brief because I can't wait to start exploring! I have only glanced at the solar system and I am so excited! The game will be played Kerbin sized but maybe in another series I will do 2.5x. Let's us dive into the story. If you want I will add the mod list, but it will take somebody asking for it specifically. Mod list: Here are the list of chapters, each one with the chapter right below the title. I hope this is a convenience instead of a hindrance. Chapter 1: A New Beginning Chapter 2: A New Initiative Chapter 3: A Mun of a Mun Chapter 4: A Golish Scene Chapter 5: A Gollogical Expedition Chapter 6: "We're in Hell Jeb, Everyone is." Chapter 7: A Little Too Much Like Mint Ice Cream Chapter 8: Junior Von Kerman Chapter 9: Olei
