That's data. They can consistently hit it, just need to go a little slower next time :)

Same thought here. I'm highly optimistic. They might miss a few more times, but they'll get it. It's just engineering tweeks by now.

Dang, well with the accuracy proven, perhaps the FAA will allow them to do land-based attempts in the future.

By the wording of his tweet, "Rocked landed on droneship, but too hard for survival", I infer it did?

Dang, well with the accuracy proven, perhaps the FAA will allow them to do land-based attempts in the future.

Is there a launch site that would allow this, with a meaningful goal orbit and safety margins along the way? The first stage goes pretty far from what I've seen.
