Alright, here is the second Modern Fighter Jet Challenge! Now with MOAR REALISM!

RULES:

Engines: 

Spoiler

2 engine limit

For Light Fighter Jets (LFJ), max of 160kn of thrust.

For Heavy Fighter Jets (HFJ), max of 265kn of thrust. 

Thrust vectoring is allowed

Max TWR in combat configuration of 1.2

Only AJE engines

No multi-engine clipping.

No mixing two different types of engines

At least 1 air intake per engine. 

Structural/Aerodynamic:

For LFJ's, empty weight of at least 8t

For HFJ's, empty weight of at least 12t

Ore may be used as ballast to raise empty weight. 

Must be capable of 9g turn at 50% or more fuel.

Min B9 pwing thickness of 0.240

Airbrakes required

For all airplanes, mach 1.8+ top speed at 6+ km altitude

For LFJ's, max speed of at least mach 0.90 ASL

For HFJ's, max speed of at least mach 1.1 ASL

No more than 0.25 mach top speed difference at 6+ Km loaded/unloaded. 

For LFJ's, at least 300 units Liquid Fuel (LF)

For HFJ's, at least 600 units LF.

Must be able to take off/land at KSC runway without drouge parachutes. 

Part count limit of 100.

Weapons rules.

Only KWS weapons/radars (except AIM-9)

1 25mm or less non-turret cannon.

For LFJ's, up to 4 SARH missiles. 

For HFJ's, up to 6 SARH missiles

For all fighters, up to 4 Infrared (IR) missiles. 

6 missile limit for LFJ'S

8 missile limit for HFJ'S

For LFJ's, only radar allowed is AN/APG-68(V)2

For HFJ's, any KWS radar may be used.

At least 4 total chaff/flare dispensers.

1 jammer/ECM pod allowed

Needs weapons manager/AI pilot flight computer. 

No rear facing weapons. 

AI limits:

Max speed must be under 600 m/s

Min altitude must be at least 500m

Must be able to destroy PZ-3 https://kerbalx.com/dundun92/PZ-3with guns and IR missiles only.

General rules

No space-grade parts(RCS, reaction wheels, RAPIERS, oxidiser tanks, Radiators, heat shields, etc)

RTG's are allowed. 

No drones

No Sci-Fi planes

No armor.

No unreasonable part clipping. 

*For those who don't want to have BDA, AJE, or FAR installed*

I will put BDA weapons on your craft for you. 

For FAR, if I can fly properly in FAR (last times second place plane was originally stock, it happened to work in FAR) I will take it.

Since the only real user-noticable change In AJE is reduced thrust by about half, I will remove fuel to the minimum for your airplanes class, unless you want otherwise. I will try to keep the CG in the same location.
