How to reset time?

I hope this is the right forum, sorry if it's not.

Long story short, I was silly and didn't use transfer windows and now my mission has an elapsed time of 31,800 years. The save is running really slow because of it and I need to reset time. I've figured out how to fix the universal time, but not the mission flight time. To reset a mission counter, to say... 12 seconds, would I just change the highlighted values to 12, setting everything in game back to the time T+ 12 seconds?

As far as I know, it should work.

Personally I would just back up the save, and give it the ole' college try.

Just try it.  If it doesn't work, then delete the changed file and copy your backup back over, so nothing will have changed.
