I remain highly displeased that the new KSP will be made available to others before being made available to me despite paying full price, simply because I didn't buy it through Steam. I know it's not what was intended, but it reeks in the same way as GameStop exclusive promotions. I don't wanna hear about how I should just suck it up for two weeks and be rewarded with a less buggy version. I'm not one of those people who go around complaining that the game is ruined every time I find a tiny problem, who make woefully uninformative "bug reports," or who rage at SQUAD for bugs that aren't their fault. I want the new KSP as soon as possible, buggy or not!

This was the first image result for "picture," which is what you failed to post. Stop cheating ;P

Kirbyl Space Program: Changes Kerbals from green dudes to little round pink dudes. They can also fly, sort of.

Sure, you can. I'm not sure that means you should...

I'm on my third KSP dream to date now, and they seem to represent stranger and more ambitious future editions of KSP every time. The latest one appeared to be the 1.1 patch, but instead of a few new parts SQUAD surprised us with hundreds. Great, except that some of them included: - 8.5m was the size standard for Size 4, making it incompatible with various mods. - a 25m diameter circular probe core. What am I supposed to build with this? - a probe core shaped like a short staircase. Again, bizarre and impractical.
-
Sounds not too dissimilar from SpaceEngine's loading method. The obstacle is that restructuring KSP's game framework around a fourth spatial scale would be extremely time-consuming - on the scale of an entire version update. While I for one would be fine with an entire development cycle devoted to this, I feel like a lot of forumites would rage about not getting any new parts or bugfixes.

Neutron Star/ White Dwarf life possible?
problemecium replied to fredinno's topic in Science & Spaceflight
I can't say for neutron stars, but considering the extreme lifespans of white dwarfs, there should totally be life developing around them. Also, I thought I posted this hours ago but apparently not. Lemme know if any evil clones appear. -
Probably scorpions. Whatever we find out there, made of whatever bizarre materials, one thing I have learned from natural history is that it will probably involve scorpions.

Unfortunately you used too much and suffocated.

This is the first result Google gave me for "image," which is the opposite of what you posted, that being no image. ;P

What is your highest patch count by moduleManager?
problemecium replied to ezequielandrush's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Zero. Never used it. However, I have seen "How Many Module Manager Patches Have You Installed" threads before. I recommend checking for existing threads before making redundant new ones. -
It'd be a lot more realistic, that's for sure. Immaculate conceptions can only result in girls - women don't have a Y chromosome, so they can't produce offspring with a Y chromosome (males) unless they get one. You know, from a male. Unless we're to believe that Palpatine or someone made a Y chromosome using the Force (difficult to believe)... Admittedly it'd still be farcically improbable, but it's still at least theoretically possible for an egg to be induced to replicate its own DNA and develop into a female embryo, leading to a parthenogenetic birth. An interesting side effect would be that Anakin would technically be a clone of Shmi.

It's only an abbreviation in the most technical of senses. RWBY is the name of the show, and basically all the fans know it by that name, because naming it "Red White Black Yellow" would be cumbersome and less cool. Anyway, on a less negative and more productive note... so sad :C They transitioned from a light and happy mood to killing off so many characters in so many depressing ways. It makes me want the next season as soon as possible if for no other reason than to clean my palate xD I also want Penny back. She's a robot! We can rebuild her (we have the technology)! Who's behind me?

I second pincushionman - it's erosion, which happens plenty fast enough. You pick up a few bits, then the wind blows and rain falls for a while, revealing more bits that were previously embedded in the ground.

Challenge: build an improvised rocket.
problemecium replied to sevenperforce's topic in Science & Spaceflight
I have about 25 empty 2-liter Coca-cola bottles lying around my place at the moment. It'd be so easy I don't even feel like actually doing it xP- 37 replies

Layout of a large, high end interplanetary spacecraft
problemecium replied to SomeGuy123's topic in Science & Spaceflight
What I'm thinking after reading this, and has occurred to me now and then when reading about interplanetary/interstellar ships, is this: - The preferred option for crew quarters is a rotating torus. - The preferred option for a purported warp drive is also a torus. - Docking with a rotating craft is much easier near the middle, so there should be one or more ports at the center. - The artificial gravity gets stronger farther from the center, so it's reasonable to try and put heavy stuff like engines and reactors near the middle so as to minimize structural load. So if we have a port at the center, surrounded by machinery and engines, in turn surrounded by a torus, in turn surrounded by another torus... it makes a saucer shape. Hmmmmmmm...... -
