  1. As great as I think I am at Aircraft Landings it's still a challenge as it should be, I'm sure in the RL it's not as simple as pilots make it out to be.
  2. @Hotel26 Congratulations man! Too cool TOTM
  3. Add what are your quirky habits when playing KSP. I'm sure there are many out there, I have a few. I'll start with one of mine..... Every time I begin to build something I have to start just a few feet from the floor
  4. My first thought was, how many mods were use and noticed this is all STOCK! this is a very nice stock build
  5. Bill ate all the snacks so Jeb used all of his drinking water!
  6. KERBAL DAKAR 2020 COMPLETE! @DoctorDavinci Stage 5 Complete Start Time: :50Finish Time: 12:42 Section Finished Time: 11:92
  7. Today I've been enjoying the Kerbal Dakar 2020!
  8. "Bond......James Bond" ~ James Bond
  9. Stage 4 Completed @DoctorDavinci Start Time: :50 Finish Time: 14:57 Section Finished Time: 14.07 One of the most challenging Sections of the Track thus far. I can't imagine how many crashes and restarts I've done. Although it's been very challenging it's also been equally as fun. There are so many jumps that look so cool and so many flips and rolls that somehow turned out ok to continue on, just can't say enough about why I am enjoying this Race and glad that I've given it a try. My time isn't great but I'm glad I made it to the end of this section. Tip: Find a good route to run on this one and just keep learning how to run it best. (It seems navigation plays a big part here) Start Attempt 85......lol Passed up the darn Flag here, even ran over the thing once......lol Some of the Adventure Photos
  10. The Engine might not be blown but my mind is Incredible work man!
  11. "I knew I should have made that left turn at Albuquerque" ~ Bugs Bunny
  12. Ok so I broke a rule or two but I don't have to be on the board, this was fun and I may do it again at a later date without breaking any rules. Timing was not impressive but like I said this was all in the fun. Thanks to my friend @klond he realized my Mini SR-71 could Circumnavigate. I had no idea that the fuel would be cut so close, I made with very little fuel to spare. MINI SR-71 AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 MINUTES And off we go! More Pictures of the Adventure
  13. If the OP would like to change their Landmark name I would say to run it by @Hotel26 and he can set it in Stone. I would be ok with my name being taken for this location.
  14. I would say the early bird gets the worm (The First Adventurer to find a place and give it the name of their desire this becomes their Landmark from that day forward) all others that follow can not give it another name. So ie: If Lake Klapaucius is the first finding and it's a lake at the end of a "Dead End River" then we have "Lake Klapaucius" as the Landmark and "Dead End River" does not exist. This would be my ruling in this situation if all else agree? @purpleivan @Hotel26
  15. Today I made an attempt to put Omega 7 WSC (With Space Craft) in Orbit. In this Version 1.8.1 the craft on the docks are holding together better. After launching I had to reduce the throttle to half to keep on course. After Boosters were staged the throttle then was set back to full. In the end this was another failed attempt. The First Launch I had too much speed and went off course Second Attempt Third Attempt Final Attempt
  16. I am leaving the Runway on a heading of ENE (East North East, this is about 70 degrees on the Nav Ball). You will pass by an Island first then fly over the First Continent and when arriving at the second Continent start looking at about eleven o'clock and you will see what I am calling "Mount Keverest" It stands about 5,000m and not likely to be the Highest Mountain on Kerbin to earn the name but we can verify that if we want to start a Challenge within a Challenge? (In Search of Mount Keverest") "The First Mount Keverest" It lays near the Sea
  17. I do apologize for not being clear that this was a post of scouting around looking for a Landmark with some significance. I will post a Landmark that I did find in this area I am calling "Mount Keverest" and I will give better direction on finding it. I will add a link on the OP to direct my findings of "Mount Keverest" On another note, I really like how you have all these awesome sights available to see on a single post, too cool
  18. I've had about 4 of these through the years of playing and didn't think to start saving them until recently
  19. This would give everyone an opportunity to get their best times. I think this could also be something that would make this challenge a long term thing. I'm really not sure how soon I will be able to run this race a second or third time but others may be interested in trying this and using other vehicle designs.
  20. My apologies for not seeing that in the rules. "Must be at a complete stop" I'll do that for the remaining stages. Also will everyone be able to run these stages again for better times or is this a one shot deal?
  21. Stage 3 Complete @DoctorDavinci Time: 11.58 Start Time: .50 Finish Time: 12.08
  22. Stage 2 Complete @DoctorDavinci Time: 12:34 Stage 2 Start Time: 2:00 Stage 2 Finish Time: 14:34 Kinda zoomed past it....haha Heads up, face your Vehicle from the front when you near the sign so you can get a picture closer then what I did.....aaah!!
  23. Stage 1 Complete @DoctorDavinci Time: 13.08 Start Time .25 Finish Time 13.33
  24. I like this, I did have plans to start settings on the Springs and Damper next. The Friction and Traction was my first go to and the balance. I've often had many troubles with a vehicle jumping with good balance. It seems I got lucky with this Buggy so far. I'll make these adjustments to the springs and damper and see how it goes and give more updates. Maybe this evening I'll make it to stage 1....
