  1. Did that and it works, thanks! Don't suppose anyone knows when the RSS.dll file will be updated do they (sorry if this has already been asked)?
  2. Is there an updated version of the RSS.dll anywhere?I use it with Better Atmospheres and everything looks.... exceptionally peculiar without it.
  3. The first asset file link no longer works, is there anywhere else I can get it? I don't plan on using KSP x64 (not on this computer anyway). Does the second file work for x32 anyway? Thanks.
  4. Hi, this is a great mod, really helpful with EVE and Better Atmospheres (can't even see Eve's surface ) but I was wondering, are you planning on changing the models for the Maptraq and the been there done that? They're... a little bit clunky, if you don't mind me saying. It'd be great to know if you are planning to, although I suppose I can live with it. Thanks for the great mod
  5. Something I've been wondering, as I'm not a computer person. My laptop has 4GB of RAM. If I download the 64-bit version of KSP (when it is released), will it work properly? I don't want KSP to use all of my RAM and to crash my computer (is that even how it works?). Is the 64-bit version supposed to be used with >4GB only?
  6. This is a great mod, and really clever too. I was wondering when you planned on finishing the iva for the PA330 and the PA550 (particularly the PA330).
  7. This mod is amazing! Had loads of lag with the high res version, so I swapped to med res, and it works amazingly. Thank you! Out of curiosity, do you know/think this will continue to work when 0.24 comes out, or will changes need to be made with it?
  8. Your packs are amazing, can't wait for the Prometheus release! Even if it's meant for Duna, I'm sending it to Eve
  9. That certainly is lucky! Maybe the rocket knew to protect the science... At all costs.
  10. Here's hoping! That certainly would be quite the science haul, and very lucky too... - - - Updated - - - Ahh, the scourge of the solar eclipse... happens all the time. I swear the Mun has a thing against ion probes.
  11. So recently I launched my DARS- I (Duna Altimetry Radar Scanning) satellite headed for Duna. It's purpose is to provide provisional mapping for the surface of the planet until better technology can be applied. For a mapping satellite, a polar orbit seems fairly crucial, or else you'll miss parts of the planet off (made that mistake before...). Through sheer luck and coincidence, upon entering Duna's sphere of influence, the orbit happened to be headed right over the poles (Albeit at 8,000,000km). With a bit of retrograde burning, I managed to get a great polar orbit at 100km. In no way had I planned for that, and actually I was kind of worried I'd run out of fuel adjusting the orbital plane, but I guess some things just work out that way! So it got me wondering. What are some of your best and luckiest coincidences, that you never planned. For but the end result was perfect? What were your worst? Has any random event completely ruined a mission? I'd love to hear your stories!
  12. Artistically I actually really liked the look of the Mun in V4. I thought it looked sleek and minimal. However, I think it only looked good artistically, and I agree it wasn't very realistic. Good for screenshots though Also, Jool's rings don't wobble; has that been fixed since last time it was brought up? I've only just installed KittopiaTech for this, so perhaps the settings aren't right to induce inclination? This is just a small idea I've had; Would it be possible to permanently orientate them towards the sun, to slow the wobble down so much that the rings constantly face the sun? Just throwing a thought out. I have to say this pack is stunning. The only place that I feel needs work is Laythe. I like it, but I don't like the white clouds at the top (can they be removed?) and I think it needs to be less vivid a blue (I personally think a more ominous, dark blue would work. Not too dark, but not as light as it currently is). The blue currently used is somewhat... luminescent looking. I do like how you can't really see the ground properly; for me it ensures the use of Scansat, and actually gives me a reason to use it.
  13. These look great! Really realistic, and is think they fit the game well too I'm always hesitant with planet packs, because they kill my computer, but these are only a few rocket planets (not like a gas giant) so hopefully it will be fine!
  14. Don't give up hope so easily! It's entirely possible this may be around in the coming centuries/decades (if we're lucky). I personally think a warp drive is our best hope for interstellar travel, or even just long distance interplanetary travel.
  15. I quicksave when I feel something could go totally disastrously wrong and I've spent ages on it. And always just before turning off the game, but that's more for reassurance and from habit.
  16. I actually really like the look if Jool's rings. They just look right now, what with being a bit green. This whole mod is so impressive! ☺ï¸Â
  17. Or maybe In reality, there are so many to choose from. I suppose these two manage to sum up most of them. In a way.

  21. I love these! They're so good. I have to say, there's something about the black and white ones that just... Looks right. Admittedly, when first glancing at these, I thought they were alright. But then once you actually look at them, not glance, you really see the detail and effort put in I lev it.

  23. I have decided after a long time to post my mission reports on the forums. This is more for safety than anything else. This thread will also contain images captured by on board cameras, so it may become image heavy over time. Heads up: they won't be stories. They aren't really for enjoyment (although I enjoy writing them), they are more records so I can keep a closer track of every mission. I don't fully know the reason for them, really its just to keep a record that the missions happened, what happened, when it happened, and eventually if the mission was successful or a failure. These aren't intended for anyone really; I just write them. You can take a look through them if you like, but they won't be thrilling stories of exciting adventures, and they won't have thrilling language. They're literally just records. After a small incident involving Jeb, a squid, a fax machine, and several small drills, a set of early mission reports have been lost. For the sake of safety, I will henceforth be posting them here. Here's a brief update on what's already going on: Satellites: 4 Ulysses Classification (Kerbin System Probes): 1 - L: Y1 D1 H0 2 - L: Y1 D1 H1 3 - L: Y1 D1 H2 4 - L: Y1 D4 H1 2 COMSATs (High Altitude Probes at the edge of Kerbin's SoI): 1 - L: Y1 D14 H0 2 - L: Y1 D109 H0 1 Space Telescope: Zeus Space Telescope - L: Y1 D164 H1 1 Voyager Classification (Deep Space Probes with no permanent orbits): 1 - L: Y1 D164 H4 Unmanned Landers: 2 Spirit Classification: 1 - L: Y1 D129 H3 2 - L: Y1 D135 H1 Manned Landings: 3 Atlas Classification: 1 - Failed on Launchpad (No Lives Lost) 2 - Landed: Y1 D49 H0 3 - Landed Y1 D133 H0
